"Celestial Displacement" is the debut album from Talst, the project of Chicago sound artist Rob Meldrum. The music can best be described as blackened, dark ambient with space-inspired, industrial overtones, etched with tinges of horror. The pieces are skillfully composed and arranged, creating both moments of intensity and a space for quiet reflection. The perfect soundtrack for a science-fiction horror film, yet to be made.
