• DECOMMISSIONED FORESTS - 'Industry' CD
"Like a punitive meditation mantra": London's Decommissioned Forests return with their second album, "Industry". Recorded 2019-2021 in the immediate wake of the band's debut "Forestry", this album marks the shift to a full three-piece line-up.

Throughout the eight pieces on "Industry", Max Rael's lyrics deal with the ultimate existential despair, whilst Howard Gardner and Daniel Vincent deliver the intense electronics and Instrumental bombast. Much of the album makes extensive use of analogue synths, performed live in the studio to capture the knob twiddling and frequency wrangling in real-time, with tracks such as 'Drop Brick', 'A Comforting Uncertainty', and 'Spectral Kleptomania' showcasing the band's mastery of light and shade: glass, concrete, and steel.
