Soma is a Harsh Noise outfit from Spain with a plethora of releases on labels such as Marbe Negre, Nil By Mouth, and L.White Records.

This 50-minute assault can be described as a sheer unending storm of harsh noise blasts consisting of modulated frenzy, thick distortion, rumbling lows and piercing highs. There is always something happening, fleshy sounds and loose loops dissolving into ravishing whirls and tons of tension. Some elements hint towards the past history of Japanese Noise, while the sudden eruption of vocals still makes for the heaviness of classic Power Electronics.
