A deep Ritualistic recording related to the atmosphere before civilization emerged or after its destruction.
Purba is a musical and theatre project formed in Moscow in 1996, with an impressive roster of current / ex-members including Alexey Tegin (Phurpa). Their music is based upon the ancient sacral ceremonies of the Bon tradition (the pre-Buddhist religion of Tibet), playing authentic Tibetan traditional instruments, using overtone singing as well as musique concrete, noise, electronic, drone, industrial and ritual performance.
The original idea of this work was to fix not the eternity of existence, but the eternity of destruction. Shiva is always there. Looking at the sky we see a lot of non-existent stars. Our memory disappears from the wind of time and leaves only eternal ruins.
