"Meditations on Space, Volume One" is the seventh album from UK's Theme and represents the first volume in a two-part set.

Consisting of one piece of music (spanning around 40 minutes in total), broken into seven parts, it sees the core duo of Richard Johnson (Splintered, Husk) and Stuart Carter (Splintered, The Fields Of Hay), working with contributions from Zsolt Sores, Hiroshimabend, Emma Lynch and Michal Wojciechowski to create a blanket of shifting sonic textures and pulses that are at once dynamic and unpredictable.

Utilising electronics, field recordings, viola, voices, guitar and a variety of other sound sources, the sound here is rich in scope as it vacillates between the dramatic and more subdued.
