Active since 2006, and based in Mjölby, Sweden, Mattias Gustafsson is a prominent figure in the Scandinavian underground noise, drone, and industrial music scenes, working primarily with magnetic tape, analogue synthesizers, field recordings, and rudimentary electronics. He also records as Barstool Mountain and is a member of Organ Of Corti (with Dan Johansson, Joachim Nordwall), and Nærværet (with Andreas Barsleth), amongst others.
