Mad Masks is the enigmatic French Alps-based Darkwave / Industrial / Experimental instrumental project from Zio Voodoo and Dominique Stela.

Their third official self-titled album is heavily inspired by 1960s and 1970s cult horror film soundtracks, drawing comparisons to early 80s acts like Cabaret Voltaire. Built on dark, tribal rhythms, slowly processed guitars, and hypnotic loops, the release serves up a bleak, industrial-gothic atmosphere.

Their first album will already be familiar to some of you as it was released by UK label Peripheral Minimal (2015). Clocking in at 66 minutes over 15 tracks, the final six bonus CD-only tracks on this new album were unofficially released on the web in 2015.
