Split release between two prolific artists of the Japanese / Chinese harsh noise scenes.

The two collaborative tracks, in which both artists clash head-on and charge forward relentlessly, evoke a strange sense of purity and exhilaration, perhaps because of their unwavering determination. Source material provided by one artist, mixed by the other... then vice versa.

Torturing Nurse's solo track, a highly physical performance sound source, is reminiscent of his live performances where he seems to squeeze noise out of every cell in his body, while Government Alpha's solo track, which seems to respond to that spirit by shifting into a higher gear than usual and accelerating with increased speed, is full of driving energy. As unforgiving, loud, cacophonous and shrill as you think it would be.
