A massive Noise union of two artists who have formerly collaborated as Vice Wears Black Hose. Formed in Texas back in 1989, BLACK LEATHER JESUS (aka RICHARD RAMIREZ of Werewolf Jerusalem, An Innocent Young Throat-Cutter, and countless other acts) is certainly one of the more prominent and worldwide renowned harsh-noise artists. THE RITA (aka SAM McKINLAY of Black To Comm, BT.HN) is a Canadian act renowned for inventing the modern noise sub-genre of Harsh Noise Wall (HNW). DROOL (Nordvargr) - 'Cultural Euthanasia' CD (Old Europa Cafe) - £12

In the years before forming the FOLKSTORM project (1997-99) Nordvargr (MZ.412) recorded some seriously vicious Noise / Power Electronics under the name DROOL. These recordings, with the exception of one track that was featured on a Troniks compilation in 2000, was never released and was forgotten on an old backup disc. JUSTICE - 'Justice' CD (Dotsmark) - £11.50

Formed in 2015, Justice are the trio of Taichi Nakura (Endon), Gojiro Sakamoto, and Yuichiro Tamaki. Taichi Nagura is a shamisen player of traditional Japanese nagauta music. Gojiro Sakamoto is a guitarist known as one of the best noise players in the contemporary Tokyo underground. Yuichiro Tamaki is an artist known for creating and presenting works in various places and forms based on screenprints, including the walls of Shibuya's PARCO. This debut album from Justice is a true extreme art that melts the boundaries of black metal / noise / hardcore / experimental, romanticism and extreme emotion with guitar and voice! RNA - 'A Taste Of... RNA' CD (Dotsmark) - £11.50

Super Japanoise / experimental band RNA consists of: Eiko Ishibashi - a multi-instrumentalist known for her diverse activities ranging from electronic music to singer / songwriter and film / animation soundtracks; Fumio Kosakai - a noisemaker who has played in many of Japan's most important noise bands such as Incapacitants, Hijokaidan, C.C.C.C., and who has picked up guitar in Space Engine and others; and Kimihide Kusabuka - aka K2 who has been searching for new frontiers since the dawn of Japanese industrial noise history. This album includes the band's 2018 performance at SuperDeluxe - a temple of experimental music in Tokyo. After having been available only through DL and streaming for many years, "Klimax Axis" has finally been re-mastered specifically for CD by ERALDO BERNOCCHI and has been visually enhanced through a blackened repackaging by PETULIA MATTIOLI. Here Sigillum S started shifting their early drones and layers into concentrated outbursts of maniac consistency, reaching out for initiatory spasms of disjointed rhythms and super saturated vocals: this CD gives the chance to cruise again through these peculiar sides of the Sigillum S ever-changing evolution, while caressing a very special, fetish-like artifact... ignore at your own risk! What was intended as a one-off collaboration with 2018's "Alpha Ænigma", the duo of Henrik Nordvargr Björkk (MZ.412, Folkstorm, Pouppée Fabrikk, Anima Nostra) and Thomas Ekelund (Trepaneringsritualen, Dead Letters Spell Out Dead Words) returns once again, spitting more vitriol into the face of the world. Not to be confused with their main collaborative project Det Kätterska Förbund (Cold Spring), this entity performs a pure ritualistic form of music, if you could call it that. These ritual sounds are once again to be considered a living curse, one that spirals out of control and gains more momentum for every time it is recited / played. Let the atmosphere guide you to places you would never find on your own, and open up to the formulae of submission and madness, a deep and obscured abyss of unknown pleasure and pains. ABSURD INSPIRATION & CHARADRIIFORM VS FILIVS MACROCOSMI - 'Versatility Of Perception Vol. II: Ukrainian Ambient Alliance' 2 x CD (OMS Records / Attenuation Circuit) - £12.50

"Versatility Of Perception" is a revisiting of the early recordings of Filivs Macrocosmi (the late Sergey Svistelnik, ex-In Meditarium and founder of OMS Records) by two Ukrainian projects: Absurd Inspiration and Charadriiform. The record is not a cover-up but a well thought-over plunging into the original atmosphere to reinforce the sound palette from various cryptic perspectives. Absurd Inspiration focuses mainly on the occult part, in particular Crowley's "The Book Of The Law" concept of love under will, and references to the cult of goddess reflected in early Filivs Macrocosmi art. Charadriiform, on the contrary, makes the original isolationist ambience truly absolute, relating wide open space and the unconscious. Comes in a 6-panel DVD size digipak.

BAD SECTOR - 'Chronoland' CD (Power & Steel / Loki Foundation) - £11.50

The soundscape for a mind movie and another masterpiece that picks up where Bad Sector's previous work "CMASA" left off. 12 beautifully crafted chapters of music segueing between morphing layers of thick drones, haunting melodies and crackling vocal transmissions. "Chronoland" unfolds a fascinating and cinematic atmosphere of frightening ambient melodica with dark soundwaves deeply embedded in the music and bursts of electro-acoustic effects. This release is another step forward into the sound cosmos of Massimo Magrini with new directions but always in the unique way of Bad Sector. Comes in a 6-panel outsize digisleeve.

BAD SECTOR - 'CMASA' CD (Power & Steel / Loki Foundation) - £11.50

In 2005 Massimo Magrini (Olhon) was invited to provide a soundtrack for the M3M art exhibition in Pisa, Italy. The exhibition was based around images of the seaside and river estuary of Pisana area with CMASA airplane factory built there in it's centre. The marvelous seaside scenery mixed with vintage industrial locations, created an unexpected but amazing, nostalgic mood. To sculpture a soundtrack of this scenery Magrini also added treated piano, snippets of acoustic guitars, water sounds and metal samples. This may sound unusual for a BAD SECTOR release but all those new elements are perfectly blended into massive and ambient soundwaves, making CMASA probably the most emotional album of Massimo Magrini to date. All initial exhibition sounds where regenerated, remastered and re-assembled during 2007-2009. Digipak.

BAD SECTOR - 'Kosmodrom' 2 x CD Boxset (Power & Steel / Loki Foundation) - £17.50

Originally released in 2005, this 2CD box includes the original album and the MCD with five extra tracks, turning the 2nd disc into an additional full length release. Dedicated to Konstantin Tsiolkovsky, the Russian pioneer of astronautic theory, the key element in Bad Sector's music was brought into the foreground with this release. Original Soviet sound devices like the Aelita synthesizer and the electro-optical ANS (which Coil also worked with) were mixed with heavily processed sources from space missions, adding an unearthly human dialogue to the electronics. The sounds on "Kosmodrom" are deep and droning, pulsating and constantly flowing with processed rhythmic sequences, supported by a bed of radio signal recordings. A timeless masterpiece of deep ambient electronica! Comes in a clam-box with 12-page booklet.

BAD SECTOR - 'Xela' LP (Power & Steel / Loki Foundation) - £19

Despite the existence of Massimo Magrini's project since 1991, this is the first time Bad Sector has been released on LP format! "Xela" originally appeared on CD in 2001 (Waystyx) and contained an edited and remastered version of a backing tape from the 1996 Sonderangebot festival, Berlin, curated by Staalplaat. Especially mastered for vinyl, "Xela" is everything that the specific sound of Bad Sector stands for. Deep droning waves echoing through the abyss are underpinned by minimalistic archaic rhythms and processed radio transmissions, creating an inexplicable mystery of beautiful and timeless sound sculptures. BØLTORN - 'Bølverk' CD (Old Europa Cafe) - £12

The Norwegian duo BØLTORN has been joined by Sweden's NORDVARGR (MZ.412, FOLKSTORM, TOROIDH etc) and has become the triple-headed Nordic monster that you will now discover here. This is the CD version of BØLTORN's first full-length album (originally self-released as digital-only). This is true old school industrial music that unites the old masters of the style and yet brings something new to the table. Expect harsh textures of jagged waveforms and distorted drums. EX.ORDER - 'The Place Of Dead Roads' CD (Power & Steel / Loki Foundation) - £11.50

Ex.Order is Power Electronics alter-ego of René Lehmann and Knut Enderlein (INADE). Gathering rare compilation tracks and 2 previously unreleased tracks from the late 90's to 2010, "The Place Of Dead Roads" is another heavy slab of complex and explosive noise electronics, analogue sound waves and pulsating rhythms with massive sample and vocal collages. Even though the tracks were recorded across a decade, they come together as a single coherent entity due to their constant claustrophobic and oppressive nature.

GOVERNMENT ALPHA - 'Seventh Continent' CD (Dotsmark) - £11.50

Government Alpha is the extreme harsh noise project by Tokyo's Yasutoshi Yoshida. "I felt it was a good opportunity to try and give shape to this intangible feeling of nothingness that I've vaguely felt for as long as I can remember". This work was inspired by the Michael Haneke film of the same name. "Seventh Continent, which throbs and contorts wildly over its seven hefty tracks, is an exceptional behemoth of a noise record. It packs the punch of a luminous supernova, making for a pulverizing release of impulsive yet calculated abrasion. And it's a beautiful record at that. [An] exercise in manic pedal warfare, which attacks with a sense of extreme catastrophe and refuses to let up, even momentarily" (Indieville). Starting activity in earnest in 1994 Government Alpha's debut appeared on "Extreme Music From Japan" (Susan Lawly) in 1995. CD in square plastic case with collage art by Yoshida themed around scenery from a seventh continent that does not exist in this world.

INADE - 'Audio Mythology One' CD (Loki Foundation) - £11.50

There's more to the history of the incomparable Dark Ambient sound sculptors, Inade, than meets the ear. "Audio Mythology One" gathers unreleased material and compilation tracks, the shards and splintered remnants that litter the cosmic wasteland that is their sonic home. These are essential pieces of the vast network of sound manipulation that fills the blackened soul of night, the heart of primal urgency, haunting and dramatic, abounding with the ethereal mist of unease and dense ruminations that breathe and exhale awe with every resonant pulse. Masterful audio musings. "Audio Mythology One" is an introduction to the archive of INADE's sound work. The first part of this series is focusing on unreleased and now finalised material from the recording period of "The Incarnation Of The Solar Architects" album, compilation tracks and reworked studio material from live backing tracks. INADE - 'Audio Mythology Two' CD (Loki Foundation) - £11.50

The soul of Eternity has a voice. It has a smile that radiates dreams of ancient origin. Its yawn is vast and perilous: to view it is to sacrifice sanity. Infinite eons have passed through its throat, sometimes latticed with tectonic cosmic rumbles, sometimes threaded with dissonant whispers of devious design. It is a place where Desolation strangles Hope with withered fingers. The soul of Eternity has a voice. It is pure sound convulsion; it is harsh sound vibration. It speaks through Inade. Though its playground is beyond conception, where space and beyond space merge, the foundation for translation is cultivated here, on Earth, by the Masters of Dark Ambient, Inade. "Audio Mythology Two" collects more loose strands and bleak, back-alley diversions, and gives them life. This is the breath of lost souls as they sigh, of shadows as they break into song, of unimaginable gods as they murmur and scheme. The saga of Sonic Pioneers continues with the second part of the collection from the archive of Inade's sound work. This release focuses on restructured session material (1997-2011), compilation tracks (2006-2009, partly re-worked) and finalised studio recordings of live backing tracks (2012-2013).

INADE - 'Samadhi State' CD (Loki Foundation) - £11.50

This album from Dark Ambient titans Inade was originally released in a limited edition (888 copies) to accompany Inade's first performance in Japan, at the Spring Equinox concert in Tokyo 2006, and is now available outside of Japan for the first time. Collected studio works 2000-02, recorded during several sessions and rehearsals at the Light Channel. Remixed, re-constructed and re-edited in 2005-6. Second jewel case edition with laminated cover and revised artwork with deep red Japanese elements.

IONOSPHERE - 'The Stellar Winds' CD (Power & Steel / Loki Foundation) - £11.50

After the highly acclaimed album 'Nightscape' in 2015, Loki Foundation re-releases 2007's 'The Stellar Winds' from Ionosphere (Erik Sander). Originally released as a limited CDR (Avatar Records), this new edition is expanded with two additional tracks. This iconic Ionosphere soundtrack lets the mind wander deep beyond Earth, where we are faced with endless vastness. It is nothing less than a maelstrom of sound. Full of deep, shimmering, ambient scapes and electromagnetic waves, drifting in the boundless dark. Sympathetically remastered at the hands of Meister Wahnmann (Secretlab).

K. - 'There's A Devil Waiting Outside Your Door' CD (Ur Muzik) - £11.50

The debut album from this enigmatic Polish artist. The obvious reference to Nick Cave is no accident here, but the music of K. also has similarities to such groups as Bohren und der Club of Gore or Heroin and Your Veins. Having its own twist and character, the sound of K. takes you deep into smoky dens where spleen, existentialism, black and white cinema, jazz noir and pulp aesthetics meet in a decadent unison. KONGO - 'Blubber' CD (Ur Muzik) - £11.50

Henrik Nordvargr Björkk (MZ. 412, Folkstorm, Toroidh, Pouppee Fabrikk etc) and Peter Nyström (Megaptera, Negru Voda) are both well known figures in the realm of dark soundscapes. They have been providing their obscure sonorities for decades now and each new release by either of the two legendary artists is an awaited treat. With their new project KONGO, Björkk and Nyström set off on a journey where they delve deep into early industrial music: using cut-up technique, processing speech samples, looping distorted melodies and making Blubber the ultimate homage to Severed Heads and Cabaret Voltaire's works. It's hectic, obsessive, and crazy. And it's got that punk feel to it - a perfect soundtrack to the f**ked-up world we are living in. LARK BLAMES - 'The Reins Of Life' CD (Ur Muzik) - £11.50

Lark Blames was founded in 2005 by Lloyd James (Naevus) and Marc Blackie (Sleeping Pictures). While the initial recordings collected on their acclaimed debut album "Chimney" (Old Europa Cafe, 2006) are improvisatory in nature, the new body of work on their second, "The Reins Of Life", constitutes a far more considered and assured collection. The album represents a significant step forward for the duo, who continue to defy categorisation while producing their most masterful and accessible work to date. Live drums and bass provide driving rhythms, alongside brass, acoustic guitar and programmed percussion. Aleatory techniques collide with atmospheric layers, musique concrete meets retro synth textures and the familiar Lark Blames lunacy make an appearance too. 6-panel digipak.

MEGAPTERA - 'Disease' CD (Ur Muzik) - £11.50

Megaptera have been a Death Industrial benchmark since their first recordings back in the early 1990s. The Swedish monster, led by mastermind Peter Nyström (Negru Voda), embodies the most disturbing and gruesome art there is. Alongside other legends, such as Archon Satani, In Slaughter Natives, or Atrax Morgue, the project has haunted our sheltered lives with their highly oppressive sound ever since. The album "Disease", originally released in 1996 by Art Konkret, is no exception to the rule. It is Death Industrial at its best - grim, terrifying and ghastly. The album is built like a psychological horror soundtrack, not as harsh as its predecessor - "Beyond The Shadow", but it is darker and will definitely crawl under the listener's skin. This is not a mere reissue, as it is completed with a brand new 10-minute-long track, which includes additional sound by John Stillings (Steel Hook Prostheses). Mastered by Henrik Nordvargr Björkk (MZ.412). Presented in a 6-panel digipak with artwork by Kellerman Design.

NORTHAUNT / SVARTSINN - 'The Borrowed World' CD (Power & Steel / Loki Foundation) - £11.50

Inspired by Cormac McCarthy's novel "The Road", the two Norwegian masterminds Hærleif Langås (Northaunt, The Human Voice) and Jan Roger Petterson (Svartsinn, Vandød) joined forces to create this stunning split album of new recordings. "The Borrowed World" is the soundtrack for a world in decay, directed by the emotive and grandly melancholic signature of both projects. This is isolationist ambient music that unfolds its meditative atmosphere with majestic and melodic waves of droning sounds, environmental field recordings from the icy landscapes of the deepest North and magnificent cello recordings of Amund Ulvestad. The ashes of the late world carried on the bleak and temporal winds to and fro in the void. Carried forth and scattered and carried forth again. Everything uncoupled from it's shoring. Unsupported in the ashen air. Sustained by a breath, trembling and brief. If only my heart were stone. Comes in a stunning 6-panel digipak.

S.E.T.I. - 'Final Trajectory' CD (Power & Steel / Loki Foundation) - £11.50

Andrew Lagowski's S.E.T.I. begins this album as a colossal sound wall; like a massive electrical transformer, out of which analogue and digital synthesizer sounds and samples emerge, condense, and crossfade into a deep ambient symphony. The recordings and textures produced over 30 years from 1983-2013 converge in "Final Trajectory" to produce a collection of monolithic sounds. Invoking a sense of immensity with warm and dark atmospheric loops sounding distant and abandoned in a vast wilderness, battling against galactic winds. S.E.T.I. sets the listener down in this wilderness as an isolated observer; a witness to long intertwining drones, shattered dialogue and broken transmissions, with superior effects chains and a gentle rising dramaturgy forcing the complete album to an astonishing pure data vortex. Released in 6-panel digisleeve.

THE RITA - 'Sharks And The Female Form / Tight Fitting Armor' CD (Old Europa Cafe) - £12

A reissue of the ultra-limited 2018 cassette "Sharks and the Female Form" (Ltd x 39 copies, Old Europa Cafe). "Tight Fitting Armor (Diary Of A Chambermaid)" was released in 2016, also as an ultra-limited cassette and 12" lathe cut of just 23 hand-numbered copies (Old Europa Cafe). What you get here is the HARSH NOISE WALL for which THE RITA (aka Sam McKinlay of Black To Comm, Vice Wears Black Hose) is very well known! Of special note is the front cover image - a drawing by Japanese artist ZUKK, whose design combines the imagery used for the covers of the two original cassettes into a single remarkable image. All other art featured has been taken and re-worked from those original tapes. Ltd x 300 copies in a digipak.

Reissue of the Tokyo Harsh Collage Noise unit's 2004 CDR. Variations Of Sex is the solo unit of Koichi Maruyama. Originally issued on Maruyama's own private label ELEKT, now on CD for the first time. Track 1 is bonus track exclusively for this release. Maruyama uses MS-20, effect pedals, sampling, voices, and metal junk. Sick and intellectual Japanese Noise. Extreme artwork!

A live document of a gathering of fine post-industrial projects who met in the Ukrainian city Zhytomyr in May 2009. The camaraderie of Swedish act Deutsch Nepal, Russian act Noises of Russia, Ukrainian acts First Human Ferro and Filivs Macrocosmi assembled for an old school dark ambient / death industrial / experimental déjà vu.
