Two legendary titans of the extreme metal scene - IGGOR CAVALERA (Cavalera Conspiracy / Petbrick / founding member of Sepultura) and SHANE EMBURY (Napalm Death / Dark Sky Burial) - join forces for this unique split of brooding dark ambient, industrial strength noise, and heavy synth-laden electronics, creating what feels like the lost soundtrack to some dystopian fever dream.

Setting the tone for this double-headed behemoth with creeping, cinematic dark ambience, IGGOR CAVALERA's side-long 'Neon Gods' unfolds into a brutal sonic nightmare. Equal measures of dread and anguish come together with the occasional reprieve of slow, pulsating drones and almost meditative waves of static. The crescendo of harsh industrial noise with heavy Death Industrial vocalisation is nothing short of pummelling.

"Neon Gods is a bit of a sonic trip, with different layers of atmospheric vibrations, from darkness to light. It's an absolute pleasure to do this split release with Shane, I believe we share a lot of similar ideas when it comes to opening our mind to different styles of sounds" (IC).

SHANE EMBURY's 'Own Your Darkness' merges menacing, pitch-black dark ambient and hypnotic bass swells with celestial synth lines that subtly lurk around the peripheries. Rising and falling, ebbing and flowing - until finally the all-encompassing apocalyptic bleakness, the enveloping darkness, closes in around you.

"Iggor and I have been good friends for decades and this is a record very different for us both but amazing! A very interesting track to make, it was my first experiment with the Solar 42. An excellent synth for those eternal drones of despair and was assisted my long time colleague Russ Russell. As I journey ever onward in through my individuation it's imperative that I own my own darkness... hence the title. We all need to strive for balance and to kindle a light in the darkness of being" (SE).

SATORI - 'Pillars Of Salt'
CD £11 - OUT NOW!

   Bandcamp  Soundcloud  Download

SATØRI's mission to document the stupidity of our species continues with "Pillars of Salt" - a journey through grinding rhythms, dystopian soundscapes and a fascination into what lies beneath the surface.

"An aberrant signal. Data loss. Corrupted programming. Everything should be fine. But it isn't, is it? Everything is f**ked. Something has gotten into the system and is destroying it from within. This is humanity being consumed by the inability to think for itself. Ahead is the future. Just don't look back..."

Formed in the mid-80's, with previous releases on high-calibre labels such as Broken Flag, Cold Spring, Trident, Mindscan, and Tesco Organisation, SATØRI's sound comprises a mixture of harsh Industrial noise and power electronics with harder and heavier percussive beats than before. Their material provides a constant pervasive undercurrent of violence, the feeling of a planet on the verge of collapse and a reflection of the lack of humanity embedded in a culture based on greed and self-preservation.

Featuring guest vocalist Lorenzo Abattoir, the album was produced by Andy Swan (Khost, Final, Iroha, Tactical Pagan).

COLOSSLOTH - 'The Harmony Knife'
CD £11 - OUT NOW!

   Bandcamp  Soundcloud  Download  YouTube

The fifth album from industrial / esoteric electronic alchemist Colossloth is a concept album based on the writings of professor Ted Kaczynski AKA the Unabomber. It is not about his terror campaign against the industrial society and the rise of technology - but his manifesto "Industrial Society And Its Future" and in particular the elements of "The Power Process".

"With "The Harmony Knife", Colossloth is cutting through to the bone and sinew of Man's chronic, species-specific dissatisfaction, and the causes thereof. He is laying bare humankind's inability to solve its own, self-created problems, to meet its basic needs, and to achieve even those goals clearly within its reach.

What is the fundamental nature of the human condition? Is it one of misery and failure in the face of blissful possibility? Is it the contrary unwillingness to accept that we can become fully realised and contented beings through the success of actualised, idiosyncratic, and often basic goals?

In defining and describing The Power Process, the twisted mind of Ted Kaczynski saw mankind's primal need to struggle for a goal, however small, as necessary for a meaningful life. Indeed, without this elemental piece of the evolutionary struggle, he saw terminal atrophy as the inevitable result.

With "The Harmony Knife", Colossloth seizes these ideas and sonically extrapolates the implications of humankind's failure to satisfy even our most rudimentary needs. He creates an auditory landscape examining our repeated inability to focus our efforts on fundamental goals to ensure even a measure of happiness or contentment. Humanity's inability to live rather than merely exist" (Jake Shell).

VARIOUS ARTISTS - 'Электронная Музыка АНС (ANS Electronic Music)'
CD £10.50 - OUT NOW!

   Soundcloud

Available on CD (or any other format) for the first time outside USSR, Soviet composers perform their works on the legendary ANS synthesizer.

Recorded in 1969, "Электронная Музыка АНС (ANS Electronic Music)' features 6 tracks of experiments on the unique machine by: Eduard Artemiev, Stanislav Kreitchi, Sándor Kallós, and Alexander Nemtin. A 'musical' machine unlike any other which has long fascinated cutting edge, modern electronic composers, notably COIL and THE ANTI GROUP COMMUNICATIONS (TAGC) / CLOCK DVA, that have both released recordings utilising the ANS.

Try to imagine a score sounding by itself without a conductor; an orchestra without musical instruments. This magic is possible by using the musical ANS synthesizer. Created by Soviet scientist Evgeny Murzin over the course of 20 years, ANS is an instrument with which a composer can not only create but also draw their music without notes. You can see the twinkling of different lamps, the rotation of grooved glass discs... The drawings on the glass are 'sounding notes'. To listen to the drawn picture, press the button and a wonderful transformation will begin.

Inside the ANS are five rotating glass discs with 144 tones printed (by hand) on each one. Light is projected through the discs and onto photovoltaic cellbank which converts the light into electricity and sends signals to the ANS's amplifiers and bandpass filters. The ANS can generate 720 tones this way and, unlike a human musician, play them all at the same time.

Murzin dedicated his photoelectronic apparatus to Alexander Nikolayevich Scriabin, hence the name ANS. Scriabin, the creator of the 'Poem of Ecstasy', and a famous explorer of synesthesia, used in his works a highly chromatic, new type of harmonic style designed to express his beliefs, views and wishes.

Soviet music lovers will already know recordings made on ANS from Tarkovsky's films Solaris, The Mirror, and Stalker, Konchalovsky's film Siberiade, and others.

CD in full colour matt-laminate digipak with the new artwork by Abby Helasdottir, complimenting the ANS process perfectly.

Carefully constructed aural rituals from T.A.G.C., this album maps new realms in the area of sensual electronic music. Founder Adi Newton (CLOCK DVA) uses The Anti Group Communications as an outlet for his research in psycho-acoustic music.

"Iso-Erotic Calibration" explores the potent topic of human sexuality. Recorded over a period of 3 years, this could be considered on of their more "accessible" albums.

Originally released in 1994 (Side Effects, the label of Lustmord, Musica Maxima Magnetica, Adi's own Anterior Research Recordings), we are proud to present the album for the first time on vinyl, as well as the first official CD reissue, fleshed out with four bonus tracks: two were bonus digital-only tracks (2013); one track is taken from the soundtrack to the 2011 T.A.G.C. film 'Given'; one is a remix of the title track.

T.A.G.C. was devised by Adi Newton and Steven James Turner as early as 1978.

The artwork is filled with text and illustrations supporting the different songs.

A classic compilation that emanated out of Osaka, "Noise Forest" brings together a powerhouse of early 90's Japanese noise stalwarts: MERZBOW, C.C.C.C., SOLMANIA, DISLOCATION, MONDE BRUITS, MASONNA, VIOLENT ONSEN GEISHA, and INCAPACITANTS.

The ultimate Japanoise collection, originally released in 1992 on the cult Les Disques Du Soleil label / record store on CD-only, and now impossible to find. Remastered and presented here on deluxe 2LP in matt-laminate gatefold sleeve (first time on vinyl) and new CD edition, all with new artwork.

Despite all tracks falling into the Japanoise genre, they are very diverse - yet every track is so distinct it could only be by that artist.

"One of the most unique and stand-out noise comps of the 90's" (Noisextra)

We proudly present the first ever release of PITCHSHIFTER's legendary BBC sessions for the late, great John Peel.

These ultra heavy industrial metal tracks were recorded over two sessions at the iconic Maida Vale studios: 28th April 1991 and 30th March 1993 and were sourced directly from the BBC Archives (with thanks), with careful remastering for CD and vinyl. The sessions were recorded during the same period as "Industrial" (Deaf Records / Peaceville), the massive EP "Submit" EP, and "Desensitized" (Earache).

Founded in 1989, PITCHSHIFTER's early style was heavy industrial metal, often cited as one of the originators of the genre along with Godflesh - a style which they termed "Death Industrial". These sessions and albums mark the end of that classic period, before a shift towards the more commercial, beat-driven Industrial they are still known for.

NEW MAILORDER IMPORTS
ANDREA BELLUCCI / MATTEO UGGERI - 'Further Opinions About Death' CD (13 / Silentes) - £12

This is the second collaborative album between Italian artists Matteo Uggeri (Sparkle In Grey, Open To The Sea) and Andrea Bellucci (Red Sector A, Son-Dha, Vetropaco etc). Their first work, "The Soundtrack of Your Secrets", was developed amid the well-known challenges of the pandemic (2020-2022), with the last song titled 'Opinions About Death'. Afterward, Matteo faced an even more difficult period in his life, accompanying his mother through her final days after a very long illness. This collaboration became a way for Matteo to navigate the emotional weight of this journey, which, despite its sorrow, was not devoid of other, more nuanced and brighter feelings. The album is divided into four parts, each representing a phase of this experience: "I - Waiting For Death", "II - Death", III - "After Death And Mourning", and " IV - Months Afterward". Perhaps unexpectedly, most of the songs are uptempo and rather bright, though some, like 'Bianca Camera Ardente' (White Funeral Chapel), take on a much darker tone. Spanning over 74 minutes, the album gradually becomes more and more rarefied, leading up to its conclusion - and beyond - where Bellucci's heart-wrenching piano notes meet Uggeri's beats and field recordings, including a poignant sample of his daughter's voice from her grandmother's funeral. Ltd x 200 copies in a 6-panel digisleeve.
ATRAX MORGUE - 'Death-Orgasm Connector' LP (Urashima) - £24

The first ever reissue of Atrax Morgue's seminal album "Death-Orgasm Connector", originally released in 2003 by Slaughter Productions. It encapsulates the raw essence of Marco Corbelli's power electronics, melding harsh noise with industrial undertones and dark synth-electronics, solidifying Atrax Morgue's place in the experimental music landscape. From the very first track, listeners are thrust into a visceral experience defined by Corbelli's staticky rasps and eerie sci-fi synth notes. Each subsequent composition unfurls like a chilling soundtrack to existential terrors, culminating in a bleak exploration of themes that echo throughout the album. With the tracks playing as a cohesive narrative, "Death-Orgasm Connector" is characterised by sparse arrangements and an evocative exploration of singular ideas. The standout title track showcases Corbelli's vocal prowess and synthesis reaching intense climaxes, punctuated by a jarring bass drum that cuts through the sonic murk. Tracks like 'A Nasty Trick' employ high-pitched drones, overlaid with Corbelli's unsettling laughter, painting a picture that is as disturbing as it is compelling. His vocal stylings range from articulate language to feral, almost animalistic expressions, immersing listeners in a chaotic soundscape reminiscent of a nightmare. The harsh noise is not merely an aesthetic choice but a vehicle for thematic exploration - sexuality, violence, and the grotesque intersections they inhabit. Ltd x 199 copies with A5 insert.
ATRAX MORGUE - 'Mechanic Asphyxia' LP SINGLE-SIDED (Urashima) - £21

Originally released as a double tape on Slaughter Productions in 1997, this one-sided LP features four chilling tracks: 'Plastic Bags', 'What I Have (Nothing)', 'Mechanism Of D.', and 'Playing With My Corpse (Non Lasciare Roba In Giro, Vengono Gli Scarafaggi)'. Recorded March 1997 in Sassuolo, Italy, each track showcases the raw, improvised essence of Marco Corbelli's work. With its haunting vocalisations and abrasive soundscapes, "Mechanic Asphyxia" invites listeners into a world that seamlessly blends the grotesque with the profound. This special reissue has been meticulously mastered by Andrea Marutti in 2024, ensuring that the aural integrity of Corbelli's sound is preserved for a new generation. An essential piece of industrial and power electronics history. Ltd x 199 copies, housed in a distinctive handmade art package: uniquely wrapped in a plastic trash bag (sticker sealed), encapsulating the thematic elements of the work, accompanied by an amazing booklet, providing insights into the maniac journey of "Mechanic Asphyxia".
DEAD BODY LOVE / ATRAX MORGUE - 'Dead Body Love / Atrax Morgue' LP (Urashima) - £24

Reissue of a split tape, originally released on Slaughter Productions in 1995. By juxtaposing the crushing avalanches of sound from Dead Body Love with the penetrating intensity of Atrax Morgue, this release serves as a visceral experience that celebrates the true essence of industrial noise. "Dead Body Love's material exemplified aspects of crushing avalanches of crumbling sound, layered and sometimes delayed... Then you take the obsessions and the lines of moving sound and have them expressed by something like the fanatical Atrax Morgue. Fearsome concentration and jarring meditation on lines of warbling and predatory analogue synth work portray something invariably real about the obsession acted out from the Italian project. A different display of penetrative and studied sound seethes from Atrax Morgue as now the listener is confronted with a sound that pits throbbing and rough synth against haunting and manic vocalisations, disturbing the listener with its undeniable dedicated concentration. The resulting material from DBL and Atrax Morgue makes use of dark and rough early industrial-like lines and meld into eventual crushing forces. In the vein of Atrax Morgue, samples are also manipulated and drawn out for the listener reminding us of his more delay heavy work. Atrax Morgue's material works with DBL's material almost seamlessly via further haunting and throbbing dark material, slowly churning and deconstructing into his own distinct sound of heavily concentrated focus and mania for singular sounds and how they can repeat, move and create total atmosphere. A celebrated once in a lifetime example of a split release" (Sam McKinlay, The Rita). Ltd x 199 copies presented in an eye-catching printed kraft lunch bag format (sticker sealed), with new notes by Gabriele Giuliani (Dead Body Love).
DEISON / CRANIOCLAST - 'Cold Star: A Noise Inc.' CD (13 / Silentes) - £12

A collaboration between Deison and Cranioclast, resulting from continuous virtual exchanges (2019-24). The long sound themes were recorded, collected and manipulated by Deison and by Soltan Karik with the virtual succour by Sankt Klario. Tracks are segmented as circular encyclicas and the notorious use of anagrams is adopted for each title. Michael from Kallabris, helped to start the collaboration and read the text "Sankt Traumartinszug / Saint Traumartin's Procession" by Soltan Karik at the end. The result of this collaboration is an audio experience that challenges the conventions of the genre and invites a deep exploration of sounds. A work that ranges between different sound textures, combining distorted sounds, electronic modulations and hypnotic soundscapes, creating an enveloping and at the same time disturbing atmosphere. A pure artistic form, on the border between music and sound art, merging two distinct approaches to create something radically new and fascinating. Ltd x 200 copies in a 6-panel digisleeve.
FABIO ORSI / MASSIMO AMATO - 'Desert Smell' CD (13 / Silentes) - £12

"Desert Smell", a precious collaborative album by Fabio Orsi and Massimo Amato, is fundamentally centred on suffused and dreamy ambient atmospheres, with inserts of ethereal female voice (by Alessandra Guttagliere), suspended notes of reverberated piano, echoes in reverse, breaths of synthetic woodwinds, floating and enveloping pads, fragments of abstract sounds, sequencer phrases sometimes kept soberly in the background, and sometimes reminding of cosmic memories brought more energetically to the fore, accompanied by delicate electronic rhythmic overlays. A varied and extremely enjoyable kaleidoscope of sounds and atmospheres for an artistic 'encounter' of great effectiveness and suggestion. Ltd x 200 copies in a 6-panel digisleeve with photography by Stefano Gentile.
FUMIO KOSAKAI - 'The Warm Garden' CD (Skeleton Dust) - £11.50

Nearly 30 years after its debut as a limited cassette, Fumio Kosakai's 1993 album of cosmic travellings finally gets a CD reissue. Known predominantly for being a member of pioneer noise groups Incapacitants and C.C.C.C., Kosakai returned six years after the release of "Earth Calling", the debut offering on his own Anciant Records, to continue exploring the deep and unknown trenches of space on "The Warm Garden". Utilising a simple equipment array of violin, Casiotone synthesizer, metal plate, and effects, Kosakai transcends the limits of the sonic cosmos to find something that is both magnetizing and hypnotic. Liner notes by Toshiji Mikawa with translation by Kato David Hopkins. Ltd x 300 copies in a matt-digipak with artwork replicating the original. Already sold out from the label - very few copies in stock!
GALAKTYKA MIESA - 'Lejek Bólu' CD (Zoharum) - £11.50

The new album from darkwave / electro duo Galaktyka Miesa (Galaxy Of Flesh - a name inspired by the David Cronenberg film). The ark has landed. Flight around Cronenberg orbit completed. They settled in Wroclaw and adopted a familiar-sounding name and local customs. They got a job in a corporation. They swallowed Sandler. They are fascinated by Korean culture (strangely similar to Polish) and the dark sides of science. They learn charisma from local shamans. "Lejek Bólu" (Funnel Of Pain) is 14 premiere songs, most of them with words (their own and their involuntary guests'). It is no longer a soundtrack to a non-existent film (like their eponymous debut), but a full-blown story based on the concept of pain, trauma and feeling lost in a pre-apocalyptic farce. Musically, they focus on songs, less and more noisy miniatures for the computer and allied instruments. It is an eclectic mix of electronic music with a rather experimental tinge, where both the musical layer and the text are of great importance. Ltd x 300 copies in a 6-panel ecopak.
GERMINAL - 'Notturni' CD (St.An.Da. / Silentes) - £12

"Notturni", Germinal's second album, deepens and pays tribute to more distinctly dark ambient influences while maintaining a firm focus on compositional minimalism. Forgotten loops and samples, buried melodies, rattling refractions and mysterious litanies delineate misty country settings and dreamy urban situations, which can be traced back to a minimum denominator: nocturnal landscaping. Federico Franzin also records under the moniker Androphilia. Ltd x 200 copies in a 6-panel digisleeve with photography by Stefano Gentile.
GIUSEPPE CAPRIOLI - 'Fans For Fans' CD (13 / Silentes) - £12

A 'monolithic' experiment in extremely minimal music constructed in two long parts. The first part is dominated by a background based on a single sound rich in harmonics that oscillates on its own wave-like vibrations, resting on a substrate of what can be at the same time a synthetic pink noise or the real 'capture' of a natural quasi-silence. The second is a more overtly electric/electronic matrix; a tangle of faint high-pitched looped elements added to a single, more static sound, overwhelmed by a continuum of creaks probably derived from recording vinyl tracks. An extreme work, more in its conception than in its sonorities, always remaining delicate and almost 'whispered'. Perfect for those who are not 'in a hurry' and are not afraid of either silence, darkness or the passing of time. Ltd x 200 copies in a 6-panel digisleeve with photography by Stefano Gentile.
HYBRYDS - 'In The Wake Of The Witch' 2 x CD (Zoharum) - £16

The brand new album from HYBRYDS! More than two hours of dark rituals, haunting percussion, esoteric vocals, and tribal evocative rhythms. Welcome in the world of shamans, witches, and prophets, womb roar impregnated with smoke of fire and hallucinogenic plants burned. Motifs of various archetypes can be heard in this interweaving of voices: harlots and goddesses, beast and angels, fall and ascension, and some moments of these activities are clearly fixed on sacrifices as a quick way to placate an evil and unpredictable deity, and on the sexual aspect as the embodiment of fertility and the eternal cycles of life perpetuated in the ideas of matriarchy. Suspended somewhere between dream and reality, this fairy-tale world was intricately woven by Magthea (electronics, melodic layer, compositions and sound), TraumaSutra (drums, arrangements), Peter Geysels (wind instruments), with vocals by Madeline Arndt and Katharina Galgareipi. Guest vocals: Demon Pazuzu - a field recording from an exorcism performed by the Catholic church. Ltd x 350 copies in a 6-panel double digipak.
IN SPITE OF DREAMS - 'Subject:Empty' CD (Misanthropic Agenda) - £11.50

Debut release of destroyed industrial hip hop. In Spite Of Dreams is music for subjective realities. "Poisonous downtempo drips, loaded with heavy rhythms, infused with saturation and energetic noise... At the crossroads of genres, In Spite Of Dreams builds titles rooted in a precious alchemy, a precarious balance between obsidian hardness and foggy urbanity, supernatural humanity and painful science fiction. Captivating" (Silence And Sound). In Spite of Dreams is San Francisco's Gerritt Wittmer (Deathroes). Mastered by the legendary Tom Baker (Motown, Nine Inch Nails, Ministry, Beastie Boys, and more). Matt-laminate digipak with spot-varnish.
JARL - 'Receptor Radiation' CD (Zoharum) - £11.50

Eric Jarl's (IRM, ex-SKIN AREA) new album "Receptor Radiation" consists of four lengthy tracks (around an hour in total), each mapped onto an escalating scale of radiation, subtitled 25% to 100%. Soundwise, this is a continuation from earlier publications such as "Isolation Colours", "Mind Rotation" and "Neurotransmitters-Sphere-Music". Melodic, hypnotic, psychedelic, intense, repetitive sounds from analogue synthesizers with different colour chords. A soundtrack for the brain and human nervous system with signals sent to the brain in the form of electrical signals so biological transducers convert energy from both external and internal environments into electrical impulses. "Like a slow-burning signal transmitted from the deep recesses of consciousness... Pulsing, hypnotic quasi-rhythms emerge, building layers of sound that feel like they're synchronizing with the listener's neural pathways. There's a clear nod here to the sequencer-driven worlds of Klaus Schulze or the stark minimalism of Eliane Radigue, but Jarl's approach is distinctly his own - a balance of melodic simplicity and cerebral complexity... an electrical storm of tones and textures that feels like the nervous system firing on all cylinders" (Chain DLK). Mastered by Peter Andersson (Raison D'etre). Ltd x 300 copies in a 6-panel digipak.
KAZUMOTO ENDO - 'Brick And Mortar' CD (Skeleton Dust) - £11.50

Making noise since the early '90's, Kazumoto Endo is a respected noise veteran and founding member of Killer Bug / RYKE. This is a reissue of his 2003 album "Brick And Mortar", originally released on Rhystop. Despite being produced in an ample edition of 500 copies, "Brick And Mortar" has become a very hard-to-find CD for noise collectors... until now. Stylistically, "Brick And Mortar" is a follow-up to its light-hearted, but sonically-tearing predecessor "While You Were Out", released 4 years prior. This reissue includes an art layout replicating the original artwork, presented in a 6-panel digipak and released in an edition of 300 copies.
KAZUMOTO ENDO - 'While You Were Out' CD (Skeleton Dust) - £11.50

This is a reissue one of the best contemporary Japanese Noise albums, Kazumoto Endo's 1999 masterpiece "While You Were Out", originally released on BOXmedia / Philosophy Shop. This reissue includes an art layout replicating the original, plus additional, never-before-seen photos presented in a 6-panel digipak. Ltd x 300 copies.
LHAM - 'Tertium Quid' CD (13 / Silentes) - £12

"Tertium Quid", the third CD of LHAM, leads the listener through complex and driving instrumental sound textures made of electronic sounds, electric guitars, bass, synthesizers, rhythmic parts, vocal inserts, elements of ethnic instruments, wind instruments, strings, and traces of field recordings, alternating environmental stasis, quasi-orchestral crescendos, fragments of darkness and restlessness. With more serene and bright openings, in a long journey that, almost like in a story, reveals moment after moment new scenarios, new horizons and new atmospheres are skillfully described through those sound constructions with a strong cinematic flavour. LHAM (Leaving Hardly A Mark) is Bruno De Angelis (Mana ERG) and Giuseppe Verticchio (Nimh, Hall of Mirrors, Twist of Fate, Maribor etc). Ltd x 200 copies in a 6-panel digisleeve with photography by Stefano Gentile.
MERZBOW - 'Mercurated' 2 x LP (Urashima) - £32

The eagerly awaited reissue of Merzbow's seminal album "Mercurated", originally released on CD by Alchemy Records (1996). The new double vinyl edition features a remaster by James Plotkin, whose expertise breathes new life into the Japanoise milestone, revealing the intricate layers hidden within Masami Akita's amazing sound work. In this reimagined format, the album presents 'Electricwatersheep' divided into two distinct sections. This piece is a hallmark of Merzbow's chaotic yet meticulously crafted style, showcasing his prowess in noise electronics through an electrifying mix of metal performances and a diverse array of filters. 'Semisolid Mass 1-3' is a brand new bonus track exclusive to this vinyl release, expanding upon the album's already rich sonic palette with a uniquely disorienting atmosphere. 'Tree Of Kusukusu' envelops the listener in a phantasmagoric soundscape crafted from bowed metals and the eerie tones of the Ems Synthi 'a', all accentuated by meticulous filtering techniques. The album closes with 'Surfactant', a quintessential Merzbow composition with its interplay of metal and electronic noise converges. Ltd x 299 copies in a gatefold sleeve with the beautiful original artwork designed by Masami Akita being transferred over, and additional design work by Masahiko Ohno (Solmania).
MURDER CORPORATION - 'Disturbance' 2 x LP (Urashima) - £26

Milan's Moreno Daldosso broke into 1993 with his nekro Industrial project Murder Corporation, releasing his first tape on his new label Murder Release. From 1995, Daldosso also recorded under the guise of Mortar. Murder Corporation has gained a prominent position as an electronic serial slaughterer, claiming frontal attacks and sonic walls relentlessly, sampling overload and brutal distortion. "Disturbance" was recorded at Murderhouse, January 1995 and was released in a double cassette inside a VHS box (Ltd 40 copies) on the legendary Slaughter Productions label that same year. The work is divided into four long pieces, one for each of the vinyl sides. An overdose of frequency, blood and distorted noise walls sounds - death, massacres and violence are tightened up to a total saturation / distortion of electronics. A real masterpiece of the 90's! Moreno Daldosso also records as Mortar. Remastered from the original tapes. Ltd x 199 copies presented in a perfect replica of the original artwork sleeve with a full-size printed insert on 200gsm pure white paper and an additional insert.
ROD MODELL & TAKA NODA - 'Glow World' CD (13 / Silentes) - £13

Second edition of this much-requested 2023 release. The duo of Rod Modell and Taka Noda delivers what could be an example of perfect elegance and musical refinement, but the resulting sounds are dirtied, ruined and ravaged by a noise capable of deafening us; sounds that come from afar, that seem to fade away but suddenly illuminate the world around us, which lands on us and which no longer belongs to us, leaving us lost in an infinite melancholy. "Glow World" is a work characterised by buoyant ambient sounds from which delicate rhythmic textures emerge, and never speeding up they run along the routes of an electronic music that surely knows how to be as minimal and suffused as it is distressing. Touches of piano, slow pulsations of bass lines and constantly disturbed sounds that nevertheless almost lull the listener into listening to this timeless music, perfect for letting go, observing time inexorably slipping out of our hands forever. Sounds that are timeless, it was said. A rare gem. Ltd x 300 copies in a 6-panel digisleeve.

ROD MODELL - 'Northern Michigan Snowstorms' CD (13 / Silentes) - £13

"Northern Michigan Snowstorms" is an auditory journey that captures the serene beauty and introspective magic of stormy winters nights in the countryside. Each track transports listeners to cosy cottages nestled in tall pines. Music that mirrors the serene solitude of a snowy evening, where time slows, allowing the listener to be enveloped in a cocoon of sonic wonder. Ambient layers mimic the gentle whispering of the wind through snow covered branches. Eight tracks of blurry loops, soft pads, and recordings of snowfall in the forest. An immersive experience designed to transport you into the heart of nature's winter wonderland, all white nestled in the comfort of your favourite retreat. Another monumental work by Rod Modell. Comes in a mini-LP sleeve with printed inner sleeve.

SSHE RETINA STIMULANTS / IUGULA-THOR - 'Wrist' LP (Urashima) - £19

Founded in 1993, Paolo Bandera (Sigillum S) devotes himself to sharpen the edges of concepts and noise extremes with his solo project Sshe Retina Stimulants. Andrea Chiaravalli formed Iugula-Thor in 1992 and from his first release has collaborated with Sigillum S members Paolo Bandera and Eraldo Bernocchi. Their prolific cooperation culminated with the album "Wrist", originally released by Ant-Zen in 579 hand-numbered copies (1996). Here Paolo pushes Sshe Retina Stimulants though new areas of untouchable intensity: four tracks of absolute antagonism marry the most unconventional use of voice and electricity with the most terrifying walls of electronic overload, producing a unique theory of intellectual sensualism and acoustic extremism. Iugula-Thor then fills up the air with his own brand of feedback and ranting, archiving the glorious result of five new stories of attraction and repulsion: led by vocals born in the dirtiest of all alleys and fed with the steamy liquids from the seediest of all bars, the sound bends itself to a still different interpretations of the iugulanoise, a radical star among the effects and frontal crashes. This is a work for the sonically strong and structurally brave! Remastered from the original tapes. Ltd x 199 copies in a perfect replica of original artwork sleeve with insert.
THAT'S HOW I FIGHT - 'Movement Three - Continuum' CD (Zoharum) - £11.50

A deep spiritual journey, close to the primal, even shamanic contact with the fleeting matter of sound. Meditative, reflective music, based on long trance / drone forms, emerged during many hours of improvised sessions. Recorded at that same time as That's How I Fight's LP "Movement Three" (2024), this separate release differs in terms of sound and composition. We are still dealing here with a rich palette of sounds, melodies and improvised phrases, but this album is characterised by denser structures and greater dynamics. This clear difference imposed the idea of creating two separate entities selected by the musicians during the actual recordings. They can successfully function separately, but at the same time they complement each other perfectly. The common denominator is the time, place and circumstances in which both parts were written, providing stimuli and emotional intensity. Ltd x 300 copies in a 6-panel digipak.
ZENIAL - 'Foil Punk' CD (Zoharum) - £11.50

The sonic equivalent of a neon-lit, rain-soaked alley in a world where AI runs the show and humanity is just trying to keep up. The new album by ZENIAL ranges from experimental electronics to ethereal ambient, with raw, mechanical industrial noise music echoing Lukasz Szalankiewiczof's previous projects Angst'78, NOR_POL, or Aabzu. This is a tribute to cyberpunk culture, with all its character, philosophy and formula, often drawing a dystopian, slightly post-apocalyptic vision of the future, but also engaging in a discourse on issues related to conspiracy theories, as a reflection of the fears that consume communities in the face of the unknown. Zenial doesn't provide answers, but invites us to a discussion about AI and the dangers lurking in the near future, in which scenarios caused by fears and ignorance are realised, while presenting the point of view of a person who is more aware of the futuristic model in which humans are only the mode of the great dehumanised wave of the universe. "The future is here, and it's not as shiny as we hoped". Recorded at the French institute Center National De Création Musicale in Reims. Ltd x 250 copies in a 6-panel ecopak.
VARIOUS ARTISTS - 'Landscape 2024' CD (13 / Silentes) - £12

After a careful evaluation of numerous international proposals, Landscape 2024 announces the official selection of the ten finalist works in the SoundArt category: Bruno Belardi, Elena Ghigas, Masafumi Oda, Ebo Ensemble, UENO Collective, Antonio Tonietti, Simon Serc, Alessandro Buggio, Salvatore IAIA (SIC project), and Stefano Tashi. Curated by the Zeugma Collective and now in its fourth edition, the project has established itself as a reference point for sound artists and video artists exploring the concept of landscape through sound and image. This year's selection stands out for its diversity, featuring works ranging from experimental field recording to immersive electroacoustic compositions, as well as sound installations that engage with the environment. Each selected work offers a unique interpretation of the contemporary soundscape, providing new perspectives on the relationship between sound, space, and perception. Ltd x 200 copies in a 6-panel digisleeve with photography by Stefano Gentile.
VARIOUS ARTISTS - 'Never Say When' CD (Fourth Dimension) - £12

An absolutely killer compilation from the legendary Broken Flag imprint, originally released in 1987 on cassette (contains the essential two extra tracks that didn't make the LP at the time). Features: Ramleh, Uncommunity, The Grey Wolves, Giancarlo Toniutti, Controlled Bleeding, Total, Maurizio Teho Teardo, Andrew Chalk, Cranioclast, and Jonathan Briley. A perfect document. "Opening with the David Lynch-ian soundtrack of 'Bite The Bolster' by Broken Flag chief Gary Munday's act Ramleh, the tone is set by Cranioclast's unsettling 'and still the world exists', with a bell tolling over slowed down vocals and white noise. Other highlights include The Grey Wolves cut up driven noise, Controlled Bleeding's ethereal orchestral tones, and Andrew Chalks sub sonic synthesiser rumbles. Nothing on here is a song. Grinding and clanking, nursery rhyme snatches flitting in and out between feedback and metal percussion. Disembodied narrators and creaking compete for space. This is beyond music and well into aural performance art" (Outsideleft). Remastered by Puppy38. Ltd x 500 copies in a gatefold mini-LP sleeve faithful to the distinctive original Cranioclast designed LP cover. Already sold out from the label!

EXIT ELECTRONICS (JUSTIN K. BROADRICK) - 'Learn The Hard Way' CD (Zoharum) - £11.50

The debut album of EXIT ELECTRONICS, a project founded by Justin K. Broadrick (Godflesh, JK Flesh, Jesu, Final). "Learn The Hard Way" is rhythmic industrial music, characterized by a raw sound, based on heavy beats and grinding electronics. The musician defines it as RAW / PRIMAL / F*CKED / INDUSTRIAL / FILTHSTEP / OVERLOAD and puts it in opposition to industrial techno, with which it identifies, among others, the work of JK. Flesh, also characterized by a similar sound and atmosphere, but evolving towards functional music over time. Originally released in August 2022 as a digital-only release, this CD edition is now extended to a total of 11 tracks containing 2 bonus tracks. Ltd x 400 copies in a 6-panel digipak.
HIJOKAIDAN - 'Zouroku No Kibyou' LP (Urashima) - £23

"Zouroku No Kibyo" was the first album by Hijokaidan, released in April 1982. It's a compilation of live recordings from 1981, when their extreme performances first attracted attention. First released on Osaka's Unbalance Records, it came to be regarded as a historical masterpiece of independent recordings in Japan, later being reissued onto CD by Alchemy Records. "Zouroku No Kibyo" sits at a fascinating juncture between space-harsh progressive, improv and noise, years ahead of its time when it first appeared, now one of the great holy grails of Japan noise. It’s a crucial piece in the puzzle of Japan's wild and wonderful history of noise music. Superbly pressed with full remastering for this 40th anniversary vinyl edition by Nobuki Nishiyama, that brings as close as possible on analogue format the stunning original audio master. The release also features the original iconic cover art with drawing by Hideshi Hino, plus all the inserts that were on the original 1982 LP: a live photo book (two A3 double-sided, folded), one Japanese sheet and a lucky triangle card exclusive to this edition, plus extensive liner notes by JOJO in Japanese and English, and a 40th anniversary sticker. Ltd x 299 copies.Needless to say, very few copies in stock!
MERZBOW - 'Oersted' 2 x LP (Urashima) - £32

The highly anticipated vinyl reissue of Merzbow's groundbreaking 1996 album. Originally released on CD by Vinyl Communications, this significant milestone in the Japanoise scene is a sonic journey through realms of noise, texture, and intensity. A classic of Merzbow's analogue era, "Oersted" sounds noticeably different from "Pulse Demon", "Tauromachine", and "Venereology", with its use of space and dynamic range. Utilising cacophonic machine noise, synth sounds and metallic scrapes, the overall feel of the album is psychedelic and vibrant. The vinyl reissue, expertly remastered for the first time by the esteemed James Plotkin (Khanate, The Joy Of Disease), renowned for his unparalleled expertise, breathes fresh life and depth into the album's already rich and intricate sonic landscape, unveiling new detail within its reverberant dense tapestry and complex noise palette. Ltd x 299 copies in a gatefold sleeve.

MICHAEL CASHMORE - 'Until The End Of Vibration' CD (Lumberton Trading Company) - £11.50

The latest album from Michael Cashmore (Nature And Organisation, and the main guitarist and composer for CURRENT 93 from 1990 until around 2006) collects 23 vignettes woven into each other to create a piece of work that appears like the soundtrack to a drama seeped in melancholy yet rich in surprising twists and turns. Using piano, electronics, organ, electronics, rhythm, guitar and orchestral sweeps, "Until The End Of Vibration" draws from a variety of sources of inspiration to ultimately end up at a place ashmore has long been chiselling at with a solo career that commenced in the early 1980s. While there's definitely a strong classical aura at work here, there are occasional embellishments and detours which wouldn't seem at all out of place on the shifting shades of a '70s prog or krautrock obscurity, or even leftfield electronic pop. Arguably, his most accomplished album yet. "Every time I work with sacred audio frequencies I am learning from them and they are also an expression of my personal transformation of my physical consciousness. It is also a documentation of my experimentation with the unequivocal connection between music and mysticism; how they accentuate each other and how they become more powerful because of this and more intense... This album is about the journey of life to death, returning home in childhood consciousness once again, transforming from physical consciousness into cosmic consciousness and finally finding contentment and a sense of serenity. The album consists of 23 pieces that should be regarded as one piece" (Michael Cashmore). Ltd x 300 copies in a digipak.
B'EE (IN GOWAN RING) - 'Live In Siberia' 2 x LP 'BIRCH EDITION' SPLATTER VINYL (Infinite Fog Productions) - £39

If you're familiar with these songs, we don't need to explain anything... and if you haven't heard them yet, we can only envy you. Delicate folk ballads with intricate guitar work, best experienced by a warm fire. The gorgeous design and artwork for the luxurious double vinyl in gatefold sleeve was created by artist Anton Bogdanov, known for his incredible work for Maeror Tri, Eden Ahbez, Neutral, Peter Ulrich, and many others. Ltd x 100 copies 'Birch Edition' (black with white splatters).
ONASANDER - 'Dawn Metrics' CD (Winter-Light) - £11.50

The brand new album by Italy's Onadander (Maurizio Landini), known for a wealth of excellent collaborations with Alphaxone, Empusae, Nimh, Ajna, Kloob, Gydja, and more. In remote and boundless galaxies, entire generations of Cantors have declaimed the heroic deeds of alien military castes with armour that reflected the light of unknown star dawns. Expect deep drones, crisp tech-edges and boundless dark space ambience. "A release that seems deeply inspired by fantasy and dystopian worlds. This vision is masterfully translated into dense, low-frequency vibrations that slowly build an ominous atmosphere. Buzzing waves and layered textures further intensify the tension, shaping a soundscape that feels tormented and immersive. The result is pure Dark Ambient - deeply restrained yet profoundly evocative. This masterpiece culminates in an apocalyptic experience, leaving a lasting impression. Onasander stands among the most striking projects in its genre to emerge in recent years." (Side-Line). Mastered by Ronald Mariën (Stratosphere). Ltd x 300 copies in a 6-panel digisleeve with artwork by Patricia Schoonenberg.

MOLD - 'Secret Things Of The Outside World' LP (Satatuhatta) - £22

This collaboration between two modern masters of tape noise (H.Ö.H. and Remi of Hattifnattar / Violent Shogun) unites their forces in a live recording session, resulting in their most uncompromising and relentless harsh noise album to date. Primal, saturated textures collide with howling, strangled feedback from dying microphones, creating a whirlwind of harsh, broken, and distorted micro-universe crackling with short circuits. It feels as though the tape itself is melting under the weight of intense, overdriven brute force, as if the sound is collapsing inward, forming a noise singularity inside your torn up speakers. Mastered by Pentti Dassum (Umpio). Comes in a paste-on sleeve with double-sided insert.
CORONA BARATHRI / AKHTYA - 'Arimanius Ignis Ater' CD (Zazen Sounds) - £12

This ritualistic opus is the union of Corona Bararthri (Ilya Za'am and Alexandra Fauho) with the dark energies of occultist Akhtya (aka Michael Ford of Black Funeral / Valefor / Darkness Enshroud / Psychonaut), offering an ideal listening for higher and deep Ritual purposes. These sonic rituals are dedicated to the Avestan sinister aspects and ancient Persian demonology. An exaltation of Ahriman by ritual invocations as a method of entry into the Imaginal world. Each recording is a deeper call into the depths of Duzakh (Zoroastrian hell) with the liminal abyss culminating in Anastih, a Pahlavi (Avestan) word translating "discord", "enmity", and essentially "Chaos" by the powers inherently worshipped as energy manifest as Daevas. Composed and arranged in ritualistic and meditative sessions to conceptualise a journey by sound and the imagination. Gatefold digisleeve. Already sold out from the label!
