ONE LEG ONE EYE - '...And Take The Black Worm With Me'
CD £9.50 Adv. OUT 6th MAR

As a founding member of Dublin experimental folk group LANKUM, Ian Lynch explores submerged leylines of music and song. His solo project ONE LEG ONE EYE sees him taking a fresh approach to musical arrangement culminating in a sound that is more rooted in the raw aesthetics of second wave black metal than contemporary folk.
Over the course of a year, Ian Lynch enjoyed the freedom of experimenting and exploring different paths of sound design without expectation or pressure. Seeking out interesting settings to record music and gather field recordings, the essence of which have seeped into the spirit of the music, Lynch explores rediscovered spaces in Dublin and familiar interior spaces. He frequently visited the abandoned warehouse where his father worked and sang with his shruti box, contented in his solitude.
The result is a distinct and sometimes harrowing drone-folk atmosphere conjured throughout the album's lengthy and enveloping compositions, with an eerily beautiful, immersive sadness resonating throughout.
"An immersive world of created sounds and raw, resonant singing... dazzling sounds... gorgeousness and menace... lyrics carrying oceans of sadness" (5/5, The Guardian)
Features Ian Lynch on hurdy gurdy, uilleann pipes, synth, vocals, shruti box, concertina, guitar, found sounds, and tape, with guests: Laurie Sue Shanaman (Ails, Ludicra) on vocals, and Ruth Clinton (Landless, Poor Creature) on church organ.
Only available on a one-time, long sold out CD pressing in Ireland (Nyahh Records, 2022), we now present this incredible album with an exclusive bonus track 'Sympathetic Invertebrate Ritual', recorded especially for this edition.
• CD in matt-laminate digipak with updated artwork.

HERMANN KOPP - 'Der Golem'
CD £9.50 Adv. OUT 20th FEB

Best known for his "Nekromantik" soundtracks (Dir. Jörg Buttgereit), HERMANN KOPP composed and recorded his new soundtrack to the 1920 classic horror film "Der Golem" - a leading example of early German Expressionism by Paul Wegener. First released in 1914, three versions of this material were made, but only the 1920 version is still available.
Using violin, viola and electronic / synthesizer sounds, the new score adds a more contemporary, sometimes noisy edge to the film, whilst not forgetting the esoteric and mysterious components of the Golem myth of Jewish folklore. Set in a ghetto of medieval Prague, the Golem, a clay hulk brought to life by a magic scroll implanted in his chest, is summoned as a protector and avenger.
The soundtrack premiered 7th March 2025 in a Parisian cinema near Place de l'Etoile - by invitation of Vincent Glaume (organiser of the legendary Au-delà du Silence events in France, who first proposed the idea to Kopp). It was also presented at Wroclaw Industrial Festival, Poland in October 2025.
Hermann Kopp started recording songs on tape in the 70's, combining his violin with a Moog imitation in a very personal and minimal approach to music, with lyrics that bordered on surrealism. After a mini-LP in 1981 and his "Pop" LP of 1983, he became the fifth member of experimental synthesizer band Keine Ahnung. After a split, Kopp was contacted by filmmaker Jörg Buttgereit to participate in the scores for "Nekromantik", later in "Der Todesking" and finally in "Nekromantik 2". He has since released a string of incredible works through labels such as Galakthorrö, 4iB Records, One Way Static, and Vinyl On Demand.

COIL - 'Backwards' - 2LP 'FIRE RED' + CD (SOLD OUT)
2LP 'COLD WHITE' + CD £30 | 2LP BLACK + CD £28 - OUT NOW!
We mark a decade since we first released Coil's landmark album 'Backwards', with a special 10 year anniversary vinyl reissue. All editions come in a gatefold matt-laminate sleeve with silver detail.
ALL ORDERS DIRECT FROM THE COLD SPRING STORE / BANDCAMP INCLUDE:
THE FIRST EVER RELEASE OF THE FULL 'BACKWARDS DEMOS' (10-track CD), POSTER AND ARTCARD.
After the ground-breaking release of 1990's "Love's Secret Domain" album, Coil were not dormant; the main project was "Backwards", which was started in 1992, updated considerably between 1993 and 1995, and transferred in 1996 to New Orleans, where it was finished in the magic of the Nothing studios of Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails). The album saw the fruition of Jhonn Balance's recent vocal coaching, producing haunting, passionate vocals, while reaching new heights.
23 years after its initiation, these tracks have been beautifully preserved by Danny Hyde and are finally available in highest quality audio. Differing substantially from the later, remixed incarnation, "The New Backwards" (2008), "Backwards" contains the original versions of Coil's much-loved tracks; 'A Cold Cell' and 'Fire Of The Mind', which have appeared on various compilations over the years, and are now presented as originally intended.

VA - 'Salò or The 120 Days Of Sodom' -
LP 'BLOOD RED' £20 Adv. - OUT 17th MARCH 2026 | CD £9 Adv. - OUT 13th FEB 2026

The first time on any format for Pier Paolo Pasolini's controversial 1975 vision of the Marquis De Sade's 120 Days Of Sodom, featuring beautiful and discordant classical compositions, in stark contrast to the shocking and cruel events unfolding onscreen.
Three weeks before the scandalous release of "Salò, or The 120 Days Of Sodom", Pasolini was brutally murdered in Ostia, Italy. In the wake of the tragedy, legendary composer Ennio Morricone wrote 'Addio a Pier Paolo Pasolini' (Goodbye to Pier Paolo Pasolini) for the late filmmaker, included in the final edit.
Following the narrative of one of Pasolini's defining cinematic moments, the soundtrack opens with Ennio Morricone's "Son Tanto Triste", descends into the melancholic minor chords of Bach, Chopin, Orff, Puccini, and Graziosi, incorporates sinister renditions by the cast, and includes Morricone's own sombre tribute to the director.
Disgusted by the flood of crass sexploitation movies which filled the space opened up by his "Trilogy Of Life", Pasolini turned to the most nihilistic thinker in European history for what became his final film. His version of De Sade's 120 Days Of Sodom, amplified with motifs from Dante's Inferno, confronts the ultimate implications of fascism in a series of sexual and moral atrocities. "The only true anarchy is power".
The LP / CD will be released on Friday 13th February 2026, exactly 249 years since the Marquis de Sade was arrested and imprisoned in the dungeon of the Vincennes fortress for charges of "debauchery and immoderate libertinage" that scandalised his contemporaries.

400 LONELY THINGS - 'Creature Comforts' + Why I Went To The Woods' - OUT NOW!
400 Lonely Things present two beautiful, entwined releases - one, the soundtrack to a perceived isolated apocalypse filled with psychoactive melancholia and ugly lullabies, evoking an acute sense of horror, bewilderment and bereavement... and its twin, devouring hauntological dream worlds inspired by the fictional filmed landscapes of psychedelic folk and benignly sinister pagan nights in the wild forests...
"These albums are opposite sides of the same coin, which is why they are being released in tandem. The coin being, in this analogy, the 2024 National Election in the US and its place in the world's entropic trajectory, and my own emotions in the time since. Thematically different, they are both visceral reactions to these subsequent points in time in which they were made".
"CREATURE COMFORTS"
With the idea that this album would be lullabies for the end of a world, I started seeking out soothing vocal samples and hypnotic audio beds and simple melodies and set about roughing them up to form a soundtrack to my perceived isolated apocalypse. These songs would be ugly on the surface, sad and angry and defeated and more than a little unhinged but, like David's paintings, hopefully have a heart that would show through the scarring... [read the full story of the release here].
"WHY I WENT TO THE WOODS"
Inspired equally by both the fictional filmed landscapes of psychedelic folk - the bucolic British countryside of the 1960s and 1970s which, though I've never witnessed in real life, still fill me with an inexplicable melancholic yearning to return home - and the benignly sinister pagan nights of our young wild forests here in the States... Music that would be suitable for all woodland creatures and ethereal beings of the melancholy forest. [read the full story of the release here].
With a massive 2.5 hours of music over two discs each, these albums are available for purchase individually, or together as a bundle.

ASMUS TIETCHENS / THORSTEN SOLTAU - 'Lichthöfe' CD (Auf Abwegen) - £12
The musical material on "Lichthöfe" is based on modular recordings by Thorsten Soltau. Conceptually these recordings deal with the spaciality of sound and the stereo field, while still maintaining an improvisational character. Asmus Tietchens has treated the material to intensive deformations, ranging from reductionist clusters to brittle textures. In each treatment a fragment of the original material remains audible. Here Tietchens has articulated his musical interests clearly: everyday noises were treated and at times deformed beyond recognition and placed into new contexts. Thorsten Soltau works in the field of sound design and electroacoustics, specialising in sonic disintegration, conceptualism and dualism. Ltd x 300 copies in a gatefold digisleeve.

ELBE - 'Peculiar' LP (Epidemie Records) - £22
ELBE, a band that combines elements of post-metal, post-rock, doomgaze and atmospheric intensity, has developed a distinctive and evolving sound. Originally founded as an instrumental project by guitarists Standa Jelinek (Dying Passion) and Martin "Spacosh" Perina (Between the Planets, Martians), it has since grown into a full line-up that includes drummer Jan Kylar, bassist Jan Stinka (both also from Dying Passion) and most recently vocalist Pavel Hrncír (Silent Stream Of Godless Elegy). After the critically acclaimed albums "Sudety" and "Eschatology", ELBE are now ready to reveal their next evolution - a dark, immersive, and emotionally intense album FFO The Ocean, Cult of Luna, Alcest, Katatonia, and anyone drawn to intricate, forward-thinking heavy music.
Ltd x 250 copies with printed inner sleeve including all lyrics (English). |
ILLUSION OF SAFETY - 'Cancer' LP (Auf Abwegen) - £22
Vinyl reissue of Illusion Of Safety's 1991 CD (originally on Tesco Org). This was mostly a group effort focused on a dark ambient atmospheric environment and experimental minimalism that crawls under your skin. Mark Klein & Thymme Jones's heavy synth is omnipresent, Mitch Enderle & Chris Block scraping every piece of scrap metal they could find, Jim O'Rourke's extended piano and tabletop guitar is apparent, the abstract sampling techniques of founding member Daniel Burke appear throughout, and Thymme's beautiful solo minimalist piano composition closes the LP. Soundtrack like in its scope the album is another in the ongoing concept of music without a film providing a dark soundtrack to the nightmares or realities we wish we could forget. The original 1991 CD sequence has been edited down from the original 60-minute program (with its 31 indexes) to fit on an LP.
The 2025 edit and remaster removes the excess and hones the meat down to seven essential tracks that show the projects oeuvre at that point in their lengthy history sounding clear and fresh with the newly mastered version by Andrew Weathers. Ltd x 250 copies with full-colour insert. |
PAUL SCHÜTZE - 'The Mosaic Of Starlight Slips Back Like The Lid Of An Opening Eye' 2 x CD (Auf Abwegen) - £16.50
Darker ambient and organic, textural electronica from Paul Schütze. "This piece is the newest element in the ongoing Garden Of Instruments project which began in 1997 with "Second Site". Since then the project has expanded to include sound, writings, video, virtual photography, printmaking, light-boxes, installations and lenticulars. The new piece, which at one hour and twenty-five minutes is broken across two CDs, further explores the astronomical / architectural phenomena of the Janta Manta instruments. To me they have always stood as monuments that collapse the illusions of time and place: non places that bend chronology and thinking in unprecedented ways; physical markers of paradigm shift and poly sensory exploration" (Paul Schütze). Composed by Paul Schütze on electronics, steel drums, and melodica, the album also features bowed guitar, e-bow and electronic textures and loops by Daniel Pennie (Nose In Your Eye). Ltd x 300 copies in a gatefold 6-panel digisleeve. |
SUKKHU - 'Self-Exorcism' LP (Epidemie Records) - £22
SUKKHU, the fresh blood of the Czech underground, arrives with their second album after a complete line-up change from the debut "Labyrinths" (2022). Pure, dark, and uncompromising Black Metal from a band that unites seasoned musicians with young talent. Enter the new era of suffering and dying. Dark corners of the human psyche and the depths of one's insanity; demon imagery. Originally self-released by the band on CD (2025), this album is now presented for the first time on vinyl. Ltd x 300 copies in a flood-printed reverseboard sleeve with A2 poster and fold-out lyric booklet (English). |
SVARDENVYRD - 'Obycej Slunovratu' CD (Epidemie Records) - £11.50
20th anniversary edition of the debut album from Czech pagan black metal
duo Svardenvyrd. "Obycej slunovratu" (Solstice Rite) has undergone a purification - the sound is now deeper, clearer, and more atmospheric, yet still raw
and authentic - like fog lifting to reveal a familiar landscape shining in a new light. The album is conceptually divided into the four seasons, with each track representing one each. All lyrics are written as poetry, which remains rare in the black metal genre. Each song develops its own narrative, flowing naturally between delicate acoustic moments (drawing the listener into the atmosphere of forests and ancient rituals) and harsher metal passages, while maintaining a strong pagan identity. This remaster is made with respect for the original spirit, yet moving further in expression and technical quality. A familiar ritual in a new space. A celebration of the solstice, the return of light, and a reminder of the roots from which Einskaldir and Typhon emerged. May it once again guide you through the paths of youth, the forest of ancient traditions, and the
fire that never died - now burning even brighter. Ltd x 150 copies in an 8 panel digipak with new artwork. |
VLADIMIR HIRSCH - 'Memories Of Mars' CD (Epidemie Records) - £11.50
A space-ambient / neoclassical album from Vladimir Hirsch (Skrol, Aghiatrias) inspired by Ray Bradbury's science fiction novel "Martian Chronicle". This work follows the literary model not only thematically, but also in the titles of the compositions and the sequence of selected chapters. The specific extraterrestrial nature of the musical expression is, both in terms of instrumentation, sound and melodic-harmonic, the result of the author's introspectively authentic rendition of the personal experience of the atmosphere and lyricism of the book fiction, including the use of his own imaginary Martian language. Features Vladimir Hirsch (electronics, keyboards, synthesizers, integrated technique), and Czech Integrated Ensemble (strings, wind, percussion), plus guest vocals by Nadya Feir, Dawn Carlyle, Lisa El and Martina Sanollova. Ltd x 150 copies in a 6-panel digipak. |
VARIOUS ARTISTS - 'Sonic Planet' CD (Edition Degem) - £12
Selected and curated by lecturers, artists, musicians and researchers working on the The Sound Arts programme at the Bern Academy of the Arts (HKB), this CD pursues the creation of a plural Sonic Planet. With this aim, the compilation is dedicated to the sonic exploration of our planet - from natural soundscapes and urban rhythms to imaginary worlds created by technology. Conceptually it responds to current ecological, political and aesthetic crises and invites sonic imaginaries that reveal and generate alternative possibilities. The nine works selected by the jury all respond to the call for compositions that design a disorienting sonic planet: a sonic world that sounds the possibility of this world in its plurality and from the in between, making audible its invisibilities and even what we might not hear. In this sense composition becomes a worlding, a means to reveal and make accessible the plural possibilities of this world. Putting into doubt the certainty of a singular, cartographic scheme and certain vista, revealing instead the richness of the world beyond its (border) lines and Cartesian perspective. The compilation includes electroacoustic pieces by: Dorothee Schabert, Denise Ritter, Leon Goltermann, Jutta Ravenna, Claudia Robles-Angel, Sabine Schäfer, Gerald Fiebig, Hiromi Ishii and Sibylle Pomorin. Curated by Lejla Carrasco, Michael Harenberg, Benoit Piccand, Tobias Marco Rüetschi, Cathy van Eck and Salome Voegelin. Design and production by Marc Behrens. Digipak with 20-page booklet in German and English. |

CRANIOCLAST - 'Arctic Salon' 2 x LP ICY CLEAR (Auf Abwegen) - £28
Planned in the early 90's executed in the early 20's: The Arctic Salon. Another Cranioclast expedition, this time to the Pole. A long time between planning and execution, but much shorter than the time between the first fake reports of having reached the North Pole on foot across the ice and the first expedition that really made it without motorization. But also a long time in which things in the Arctic and Antarctic got worse and worse and continue. 105 minutes of Cranioclast ambient-drone-industrial bliss. Ltd x 300 copies on double 'Icy Clear' vinyl - almost completely transparent like ice but hotter (or cooler). Stickered outer PVC sleeve including a download code. |
GOSPEL OF THE FUTURE - 'Blowtorch Mankind' CD (Epidemie Records) - £11.50
"Gospel Of The Future have been considered one of the heaviest and loudest sludge metal acts from the Czech underground. Through their uncompromising sound, live and on record, they built themselves a name within the metal and stoner scene, and after eight long years split up, the band are now returning with their third album Blowtorch Mankind... Gospel Of The Future's sound is a solid wall, a dense substance nothing could possibly penetrate. If you were looking for something that had a sound that might feel like mud running down your throat, this is the sludge you were looking for" (The Sleeping Shaman). 6-panel digipak. |
KK NULL / JOHN WIESE - 'Mondo Paradoxa' CD (Auf Abwegen) - £11.50
Constructed over a period of two years via mail, this is a great and forceful collaboration between two artists that each have made a name for themselves with their unique approach to making sound. KK NULL is a master of feedback studies, working with looped scenarios to create dense and vital sound units. He has a long history as an experimental musician and is also the leading force behind proto-metal-group Zeni Geva and the dark-industrial project Absolut Null Punkt. John Wiese is known for collabs with such acts as Wolf Eyes and Sunn O))), but also as a graphic designer in high demand and founder of noise groups Sissy Spacek, LHD, and Smegma. Usually he creates fragile but very eruptive lo-fi noise rumblings with an almost poetic touch. Both artists here combine the best of both their worlds in this crunching release! Ltd x 500 copies in beautiful digipak, designed by Government Alpha, with typesetting by John Wiese. |
MØHR / MAEROR TRI - 'Hafenstadt' CD (Auf Abwegen) - £11.50
This music was originally planned to form a part of the third tape box in the MØHR interpretation series of ZNS TAPES. For this release the basic material of MØHR was placed on side A and the interpretation on side B, enabling the listener to compare the basic and the final sound. Three tapes were compiled as one tape box linked by a loose theme. The third one, which was to contain 'Hafenstadt' by Maeror Tri (precursor to Troum and 1000schoen), as well as material of PBK and The Haters, was never released due to the sudden end of ZNS TAPES. This combination of basic material plus the musical reworking is still an interesting and exciting experience for the audience, especially after spending more than 20 years in the archives. MØHR's first experiments with strange sounds and noises started in 1986 with the strict principle of not using conventional instruments - mainly tape-machines and effects are responsible for the dense sound walls. Ltd x 500 copies in a digipak. |
PAUL SCHÜTZE - 'Topology Of A Quantum City' CD (Auf Abwegen) - £11.50
"Topology Of A Quantum City" was created using the original DATs from a 1992 session for Paul Schütze's album "New Maps Of Hell". He rebuilt the central piece from that album from its original component parts / rhythm track, sending that "spine" to the various contributing players (Daniel Pennie, Dirk Wachtelaer, Bill Macdonald, and Philip Brophy) and then performed a kind of surgery with the added drums, bass, guitar and trombone. New tonalities and unexpected harmonic light and shade, with a radical rethinking of the rhythm blew the structure open, inviting multiple levels of dynamic detail. The two additional pieces have a newer origin; one with drum parts as the starting impetus around which was constructed a kind of melodic breath, laying multiple guitar lines into counterpoint; the second by atomising and refracting familiar gestures over a rolling machine rhythm. They feel like a temporal cross pollination to those familiar with their roots and perhaps a lure into a period of unheard riches to those who are yet to have that pleasure. Digisleeve. |
SECRET APEX - 'Secret Apex' CD (Satatuhatta) - £11.50
Secret Apex is Jaakko Vanhala (Zoät-Aon / Primitive Wings). This is an intense, lysergic sounding mixture of electronic music and noise. Distorted objects, ecstatic drones, feedback and field recordings get mixed with traces of electroacoustic experimental and kosmische musik. Contains a wide array of sound sources from field recordings made in Malaysia, to a pipe organ recorded in a concert hall in Finland. Guitar sources from Jaakko Padatsu (Halo Manash, Lingua Fungi). Presented in a silver on black silkscreen-printed cardboard cover. |
SLUICE ROOM - 'Antinatalist Variations' CD (Sink Slop Processing) - £11.50

RAPOON - 'Cidar (Redux)' 2 x LP (Other Voices Records) - £32
Originally available in 1994 as a limited-edition DAT tape through Staalplaat Records, "Cidar" was later included as a bonus CD in the reissue of another Rapoon classic, "Fallen Gods" (Staalplaat, 2000). This mesmerizing work is now presented as a stand-alone release - remastered and expanded with previously unreleased tracks from the original recording sessions. "Cidar" showcases Rapoon's signature sound - a seamless blend of drones and loops intertwined with vibrant African percussion and hauntingly beautiful Asian string instruments. This combination creates an immersive, trance-like atmosphere that transports listeners into a world of meditative sonic exploration. With its enchanting rhythms and deeply textured layers, "Cidar" stands as a testament to Robin Storey's unparalleled ability to craft music that defies genre boundaries while remaining instantly recognisable. A hypnotic masterpiece. THE STARGAZER'S ASSISTANT - 'Modular Fields. Volume One' LP (Zoharum) - £20
THE STARGAZER'S ASSISTANT - 'Modular Fields. Volume Two' LP (Zoharum) - £20
This is the 5th album from British band The Stargazer's Assistant. This CD edition contains both parts of the "Modular Fields" diptych (released as Volume One and Volume Two on vinyl) - four long, ambient compositions with a slightly esoteric flavour. Like the previous release, "Fire Worshipper", the album was recorded with the following lineup: David J. Smith (Guapo, The Amal Gamal Ensemble, The Holy Family), Michael J. York (COIL, The Utopia Strong, Urthona), David J. Knight (UnicaZürn, Shock Headed Peters), and Antti J. Uusimaki (UZU NOIR). This musical phenomenon can be simply defined as esoteric ambient, stylistically fitting somewhere between the albums of Cyclobe, UnicaZurn, Coil from the last period of activity and all kinds of lunar publications. ATARAXIA - 'Centaurea' CD (The Circle Music) - £12
ATARAXIA - 'Centaurea' LP GOLD (The Circle Music) - £26
A golden voyage through a mythical land, Ataraxia's 29th album was conceived on a real Greek island of impressive neoclassical beauty. "Centaurea is an island beyond the columns of time, still immersed in a golden age, it is a new Mediterranean Avalon whose name is a hundred times brighter than gold and that can only be accessed by dreaming... always immersed in the gold of the light of twilight and the flaming magenta of the dawn, we reach a dimension in which the principles of the Sacred Feminine and Masculine are embodied by heroes and maidens, priestesses and bards. We participate in nocturnal rituals, dances at dawn, races across prairies and woods, flights overlooking the sea, celebrations of the primeval Sun. We speak lunar alphabets, we cross woods of wild loves, enchanted bays where sweet scents are released, we sail wild blues and listen to the myths of the Oak. The beings who animate these places live destinies on a strand of splendour".
The lyrics of the songs, sung in several ancient and modern languages, are precious poems by Francesca Nicoli and Mara Paltrinieri (who also worked on the band's first albums). A kaleidoscope of varied beauty in which the arts blend and accompany us. Ad Maiora! CD:

TRANCE - 'Ancient History' CD (Helicopter / Troniks) - £11.50
San Francisco-based musician, artist, and writer Mason Jones has been a giant force in the experimental underground for more than 30 years, from founding the influential record label Charnel Music and publishing the Ongaku Otaku magazine, curating the legendary Japanese / American Noise Treaty compilation for Release Entertainment, touring and recording under a variety of guises, including his earliest work under the moniker Trance. "Ancient History" collects three live tracks (72 mins) of shifting sound, industrial haunt, and ritual chaos, including the project's first-ever live performance (1991), the Heinz Club Oakland set (1992) opening for the fabled C.C.C.C. show documented on their Loud Sounds Dopa disc, and an expanded, completely remastered version of the Live at the Starlight Furniture Company session (1991) recorded with Jojo & Junko of Hijokaidan and Elden M. of Allegory Chapel Ltd, previously released as a sought-after 7" record on Charnel Music. Mastered by John Wiese. Digipak. |
STARLIGHT ASSEMBLY - 'There Will Be Fireworks' CD (13 / Silentes) - £12
Dominic Appleton, known since the early 80's as the vocalist in post punk / dream pop band Breathless, and the legendary This Mortal Coil project (4AD), joins forces with the Milanese producer and sound artist Matteo Uggeri (Open To The Sea, Sparkle In Grey). Starlight Assembly's first album, "Starlight and Still Air" (2021, Beacon Sound) was widely-acclaimed, and followed after by a remix project featuring Robin Rimbaud (Scanner), Auscultation, Gabriel Saloman (Yellow Swans), Sawako and Pan American, and more. The new album, "There Will Be Fireworks", continues the duo's complex cross-genre approach to music by melding Uggeri's intricate musical textures with Appleton's sweet and melancholic melodies, supported by the haunting guitars of Gary Mundy (Ramleh, Kleistwahr, Broken Flag boss). The tracks here are more songlike, the journey more cohesive, with the artists playing more to one another's strengths. Mastered by Martin Bowes (Attrition). CD: Ltd x 200 copies in a 6-panel digisleeve with booklet. LP: Ltd x 100 copies on 140gm transparent vinyl. Includes a postcard signed by both artists and a full-size, double-sided insert with photos by Riccardo Diotallevi and Jeff Dungfelder. VERY FEW COPIES IN STOCK! |
BROTHERHOOD OF SLEEP - 'Enter The Nuummite Cosmos' CD (Zazen Sounds) - £12
Brotherhood of Sleep is all about the Astral Temple that feeds on the massive energy of a Violet Sun, whose rays continually activate the crystals and skulls in the Temple and keep them in their highest, most powerful energetic state. The sound in the recordings captures the etheric sounds from the Temple and the atmosphere of the places that are connected to it, ranging from dark, sometimes percussion driven ambient, straight to deep monotone passages which symbolizes the state of the deep emptiness where everything is born from. The title of the work "Enter The Nuummite Cosmos" may be taken literally, and is about entering the giant Nuummite crystal wall which is located in the Temple and acts as a gateway, with the intention to learn to make full alignment/integration with all that is, and to become thereby the Eye of the Storm. Brotherhood Of Sleep is the Ritual Dark Ambient project of renowned Belgian artist Bart Piette (NDE / Dead Man's Hill), whose debut "Devotional Hymns To A Brilliant Flaming Sun" was released on Winter-Light in 2024. Gatefold digisleeve. Already sold out from the label! Very few copies in stock - ACT FAST! |

FRANS DE WAARD - 'We Know How To Hate - The Opus Dei Society Story' Book (Korm Plastics) - £11
In 1984, Frans de Waard founded his label, Korm Plastics, and his music project, Kapotte Muziek. Shortly thereafter, Christian Nijs joined as a member. About a year later that, Frans launched the Opus Dei Society. This harsh noise cassette label released 23 cassettes by the likes of Post Destruction Music, Kapotte Muziek, Death Pact Internal, Factor 6, THU20, 13 Frater 13, A Violated Body, Zweiter Korps, Con-Dom, Nails Øv Christ, Odal, Experiment Incest, Birth of Tragedy, Brutal Love, Vandal X, Het Hilaire Brisdak Ensemble, Une Le Wurg Production, and Information Aggression. In this book, he details the story of each release and, along the way, interviews several key players, including Vidna Obmana, Don van Dijk, David Padbury, Eriek van Havere, Stef Windelinx, and Ameury Perez, while Peter Zincken writes autobiographical notes. There are a few reprinted pieces from the past, such as interviews with Con-Dom and THU20. There's even a recipe! Two additional texts are about Christian Nijs and his venture as a label, Disbuse Transmissions, and a piece on the early works of Peter Zinkcen / Odal. An indispensable read for anyone with a love of harsh noise, power electronics and obscure cassette releases. 17 x 24 cm, 88pp. Recently digitised, you can listen to all 23 tapes here! |
