Officially licensed from Irwin Chusid of the SUN RA estate, Cold Spring negotiated rare and unreleased tracks from the SUN RA archive to be remixed and treated by Masami Akita (MERZBOW). The tracks incorporate the jazz power of SUN RA, carried into brutal excess by the legendary Japanese noise artist, MERZBOW.

Originally released by Cold Spring a decade ago and long sold out, the music was spread across vinyl and CD, with completely different music on each format. The tracks are now collected together here for the first time, from the original masters and presented in the order originally intended (the vinyl format dictated the order due to optimal sound quality restraints).

The first time on any format for Pier Paolo Pasolini's controversial 1975 vision of the Marquis De Sade's 120 Days Of Sodom, featuring beautiful and discordant classical compositions, in stark contrast to the shocking and cruel events unfolding onscreen.

Three weeks before the scandalous release of "Salò, or The 120 Days Of Sodom", Pasolini was brutally murdered in Ostia, Italy. In the wake of the tragedy, legendary composer Ennio Morricone wrote 'Addio a Pier Paolo Pasolini' (Goodbye to Pier Paolo Pasolini) for the late filmmaker, included in the final edit.

Following the narrative of one of Pasolini's defining cinematic moments, the soundtrack opens with Ennio Morricone's "Son Tanto Triste", descends into the melancholic minor chords of Bach, Chopin, Orff, Puccini, and Graziosi, incorporates sinister renditions by the cast, and includes Morricone's own sombre tribute to the director.

Disgusted by the flood of crass sexploitation movies which filled the space opened up by his "Trilogy Of Life", Pasolini turned to the most nihilistic thinker in European history for what became his final film. His version of De Sade's 120 Days Of Sodom, amplified with motifs from Dante's Inferno, confronts the ultimate implications of fascism in a series of sexual and moral atrocities. "The only true anarchy is power".

The CD was released on Friday 13th February 2026, exactly 249 years since the Marquis de Sade was arrested and imprisoned in the dungeon of the Vincennes fortress for charges of "debauchery and immoderate libertinage" that scandalised his contemporaries.

Early hallucinatory ritual percussion works from the much-missed rhythmajik master Z'EV, with his 1983 Berlin Atonal performance as a bonus track (first time on any format since the original split LP with Psychic TV).

This legendary album by Industrial pioneer Z'EV was originally released in 1986 (LP, Dossier), now finally available with the state-of-the-art remastering it deserves. Also included is the bonus 20 minute track 'Titan Night', recorded at Berlin Atonal in December 1983, now available here for the first time on any format since the original 1984 split LP with Psychic TV (who performed their iconic set at the same event). Z'EV performed on all-steel, custom-made percussion instruments, designed to activate the acoustics of the space.

Cedar Spirits is a collaboration between artists Pythagamus Olaf Marshall (Novemthree) and Chet W. Scott (Cycle Of The Raven Talons, Blood Of The Black Owl, Ruhr Hunter), well-known to those who love ritual, dark folk and nature inspired music (Novemthree featured on our "John Barleycorn Reborn: Rebirth" compilation). Chet W. Scott (Blood Of The Black Owl, Ruhr Hunter) under the moniker and original sigil Cycle Of The Raven Talons presents 90 minutes of ceremonial drones, ambient textures, natural soundscapes and transcendent vocals. A seeker and long standing solitary practitioner of his own path, this collection of sacred ecstatic works - using authentic ritual instrumentation such as animal horns, ceremonial frame drums, bone flutes and antique bells - has become another turn of the great wheel. These four ceremonies are inspired perspectives through the sacred medicine circle; a journey of strictly acoustic, worldly soundscapes performed as an intense and sometimes brutal aural cleanse. "My intentions offer a strict implementation of authentic hand-crafted ceremonial and ritual instrumentation. Hypnotic, intuitive, moss-covered folk rituals from members of Blood Of The Black Owl, Cycle Of The Raven Talons, Fauna, Ruhr Hunter, and Cedar Spirits. The second release from Fearthainne (also known as Rain) is an unflinching inquiry into the ontological status of the human animal trapped in postmodernity, confined within civilisation's tangled web. A series of wonderings meant to initiate the wandering of the soul, this aural journey facilitates questioning and the freedom inherent in unburying truth. Querying, rather than surety, opens the door of our cage and gifts us gnosis. For, one cannot know who they are until they realise what it is they were meant to be. Acoustic guitars, violin, drum, dulcimer, and voice are the implements of this craft, as Fearthainne eschews the use of electrified tools. A textural passage through emotional sonic terrain, we clear a space for the unfolding of human majesty, in the process welcoming home the battered and bruised creature we are. NOVEMTHREE - 'Storms Of Memory' CD (Glass Throat Recordings) - £13

On "Storms Of Memory", Novemthree have sought a deeper exploration of their characteristic blend of acoustic folk songwriting and layered ambient textures, weaving a sonic tapestry of stringed instruments, varied percussion, flutes, woodwinds, and vocal harmonies to create an incredibly profound and beautifully poignant full length collection. After a long and quiet time of reflection, Novemthree emerges from the thicket with "Storms Of Memory", their first musical release since their split-album "Braided Paths" with Sangre De Muerdago (2014), and their first full length album since "Renewing" (2012). The songs on "Storms Of Memory" document a four-year journey of recording, split between the locales of the Salish Sea of the Pacific Northwest and the driftless area of the Northern Midwest, with the conceptual roots of the songs originating in a series of live performances that occurred between 2013 and 2018. CAPRICORNI PNEUMATICI - 'Vala, Or The Four Zoas' CD (Eighth Tower / Unexplained Sounds) - £12

Originally released on cassette in 1989, "Vala, Or The Four Zoas" emerged during a period of intense creative activity for Capricorni Pneumatici, only a few weeks after the recording sessions of "IX-TAB" and in parallel with the development of "Nibbas". The genesis of the album revolves around the exploration of timbres capable of autonomous evolution, such as the DX7's bi-harmonic sound, whose layered harmonics unfold over time, creating suspended zones and dreamlike, meditative dimensions. Alongside FM synthesis, the album incorporates field recordings, concrete sounds, acoustic fragments, tape overdubs, environmental interferences, and metallic percussion. Other moments, built entirely from environmental recordings processed through a Revox A77 used as a delay device, move toward a sparse, almost ascetic form of musique concréte. The reference to William Blake, evoked by the title, does not directly influence the sonic construction of the album, but emerges as an ideal lens through which to interpret the ritualistic, shamanic, and hallucinatory character of the work, offering an additional key to understanding one of Capricorni Pneumatici's most enigmatic and layered albums. Italian Industrial pioneer Maurizio Bianchi chisels soundscapes built from abrasive, material noises, dissonant cadences, and atmospheres both dust-laden and rarefied yet simultaneously dense... sonic debris, distant echoes, reverberations functioning as unstable archives of memory. His practice remains faithful to the grammar of noise in its most concrete form, transforming chaos into a syntax that vibrates and breathes. Upon this fractured yet fertile topography, Ramona Ponzini (Painting Petals On Planet Ghost, Praxinoscope) overlays her voice and texts, which become a dramaturgical substance in their own right.
