Early hallucinatory ritual percussion works from the much-missed rhythmajik master Z'EV, with his 1983 Berlin Atonal performance as a bonus track (first time on any format since the original split LP with Psychic TV).

This legendary album by Industrial pioneer Z'EV was originally released in 1986 (LP, Dossier), now finally available with the state-of-the-art remastering it deserves. Also included is the bonus 20 minute track 'Titan Night', recorded at Berlin Atonal in December 1983, now available here for the first time on any format since the original 1984 split LP with Psychic TV (who performed their iconic set at the same event). Z'EV performed on all-steel, custom-made percussion instruments, designed to activate the acoustics of the space.

The first time on any format for Pier Paolo Pasolini's controversial 1975 vision of the Marquis De Sade's 120 Days Of Sodom, featuring beautiful and discordant classical compositions, in stark contrast to the shocking and cruel events unfolding onscreen.

Three weeks before the scandalous release of "Salò, or The 120 Days Of Sodom", Pasolini was brutally murdered in Ostia, Italy. In the wake of the tragedy, legendary composer Ennio Morricone wrote 'Addio a Pier Paolo Pasolini' (Goodbye to Pier Paolo Pasolini) for the late filmmaker, included in the final edit.

Following the narrative of one of Pasolini's defining cinematic moments, the soundtrack opens with Ennio Morricone's "Son Tanto Triste", descends into the melancholic minor chords of Bach, Chopin, Orff, Puccini, and Graziosi, incorporates sinister renditions by the cast, and includes Morricone's own sombre tribute to the director.

Disgusted by the flood of crass sexploitation movies which filled the space opened up by his "Trilogy Of Life", Pasolini turned to the most nihilistic thinker in European history for what became his final film. His version of De Sade's 120 Days Of Sodom, amplified with motifs from Dante's Inferno, confronts the ultimate implications of fascism in a series of sexual and moral atrocities. "The only true anarchy is power".

The CD was released on Friday 13th February 2026, exactly 249 years since the Marquis de Sade was arrested and imprisoned in the dungeon of the Vincennes fortress for charges of "debauchery and immoderate libertinage" that scandalised his contemporaries.

DEREK JARMAN - 'Through The Billboard Promised Land Without Ever Stopping'

Written in 1971 and read here by the author himself "Through the Billboard Promised Land Without Ever Stopping" is Derek Jarman's only known work of narrative fiction.

Providing a prelude to some of the imagery Derek Jarman would use later in his career, particularly the alchemical dreamscapes in the film "Blue", it is a surreal, hallucinatory fairytale, signposted with elements of modernity, that has much of the mythic and archetypal about it.

With tantalising autobiographical details and a panoply of chromatic landscapes and psychosexual symbols, this richly poetic story details a journey with no destination or purpose across a mythical America, undertaken by the young blind King Amethyst and his valet John.

Previously only ever released on cassette (2022, Prototype Publishing, Ltd 80), this vinyl edition features facsimile images of the story's handwritten drafts from Jarman's archive and photos by the artist Michael Ginsborg, a close friend of Jarman's throughout the period of the story's writing.

As a founding member of Dublin experimental folk group LANKUM, Ian Lynch explores submerged leylines of music and song. His solo project ONE LEG ONE EYE sees him taking a fresh approach to musical arrangement culminating in a sound that is more rooted in the raw aesthetics of second wave black metal than contemporary folk.

Over the course of a year, Ian Lynch enjoyed the freedom of experimenting and exploring different paths of sound design without expectation or pressure. Seeking out interesting settings to record music and gather field recordings, the essence of which have seeped into the spirit of the music, Lynch explores rediscovered spaces in Dublin and familiar interior spaces. He frequently visited the abandoned warehouse where his father worked and sang with his shruti box, contented in his solitude.

The result is a distinct and sometimes harrowing drone-folk atmosphere conjured throughout the album's lengthy and enveloping compositions, with an eerily beautiful, immersive sadness resonating throughout.

"Songs Of Compassion" is a project by The United States Of Alchemy (Dorothy Moskowitz, Francesco Paolo Paladino and Luka Chino Ferrari) that delves into the shades of the night, of psychedelic ballads, of the dreamy filaments of the evanescent matter of para-auditory sensations. A truly alienating chapter in which the illusion of a muffled sound intertwines with shreds of chamber music, the exploration of unusual territories of the mind supported by the magical voice of a gigantic Dorothy Moskowitz who challenges without disfiguring the vocal architectures of Nina Simone and Nico, passing through the torch song roughness of a terminal Scott Walker. Francesco Paladino (also of A.T.R.O.X. / Nosesoul) filters with incredible passion the sounds and harmonies of Moskowitz, managing to be at the same time extremely synthetic (and poetic) and pyrotechnically creative. The architraves of this delicate, timeless glassware are supported by the poetic texts of Luca Chino Ferrari who fights between lacerating and cynical ideas and sudden flutters of oxygenating wings, in a path that, even if on "tiptoe", reverberates in our soul as if it were an earthquake of immense dimensions. MAURIZIO BIANCHI - 'I.A.C.V. Tapes' 4 x CD Set (St.An.Da. / Silentes) - £45

Inspired by the early German electronic vanguard of Tangerine Dream and Conrad Schnitzler, and by the radical provocations of Throbbing Gristle, "I.A.V.C. Tapes" gathers the 4 foundational documents of Maurizio Bianchi's solo career, in chronological order: "Industrial Tape", "Atomique Tape", "Voyeur Tape", and "Cold Tape" [read more about each release here]. Working alone from his hometown Mantuan in 1980, equipped with little more than an analogue synthesiser, a tape machine, and a small bank of effects, 24 year old M.B. closed the chapter of his Sacher-Pelz project and inaugurated the body of work that would place him at the heart of European industrial music. Across roughly 12 months he produced an extraordinary run of self-issued and small-label cassettes that, in their density and consistency, remains among the most singular outpourings of any artist in the post-war avant-garde. Ltd x 66 copies in a black cotton bag, with each of the four albums in its own gatefold digisleeve. The bag itself features a piece of banner canvas secured with metal staples (printed with the M.B. logo and the words I.A.V.C. For the 4th volume of the "Ghosts Of The Soul Long Lost " series of archival recordings, Stephen Petrus compiled the best moments of Murderous Vision's live recordings. Clocking in at 2.5 hours, these Death Industrial / Dark Ambient performances are, for the most part, post-pandemic, but a few old moments are represented. None of these recordings have been physically released, and all (but a few available digitally) have been heard outside of the room they were captured in. The DCD contains performances that took place in Akron / Columbus / Cleveland (Ohio), Brooklyn (New York), Manchester (New Hampshire), Minneapolis (Minnesota), Los Angeles (California), Pittsburgh (Pennsyvania), Vantaa (Finland), and Limburg (Netherlands). Italian Industrial pioneer Maurizio Bianchi chisels soundscapes built from abrasive, material noises, dissonant cadences, and atmospheres both dust-laden and rarefied yet simultaneously dense... sonic debris, distant echoes, reverberations functioning as unstable archives of memory. His practice remains faithful to the grammar of noise in its most concrete form, transforming chaos into a syntax that vibrates and breathes.
