DEREK JARMAN - 'Through The Billboard Promised Land Without Ever Stopping'
LP £20 Adv. OUT 31st MAR

  Bandcamp  Soundcloud

Written in 1971 and read here by the author himself "Through the Billboard Promised Land Without Ever Stopping" is Derek Jarman's only known work of narrative fiction.

Providing a prelude to some of the imagery Derek Jarman would use later in his career, particularly the alchemical dreamscapes in the film "Blue", it is a surreal, hallucinatory fairytale, signposted with elements of modernity, that has much of the mythic and archetypal about it.

With tantalising autobiographical details and a panoply of chromatic landscapes and psychosexual symbols, this richly poetic story details a journey with no destination or purpose across a mythical America, undertaken by the young blind King Amethyst and his valet John.

Previously only ever released on cassette (2022, Prototype Publishing, Ltd 80), this vinyl edition features facsimile images of the story's handwritten drafts from Jarman's archive and photos by the artist Michael Ginsborg, a close friend of Jarman's throughout the period of the story's writing.

Ltd x 500 copies on heavyweight 180gm black vinyl in gloss sleeve.

VA - 'Salò or The 120 Days Of Sodom' -
CD £11 - OUT NOW! | LP 'BLOOD RED' - SOLD OUT

Bandcamp  Soundcloud

The first time on any format for Pier Paolo Pasolini's controversial 1975 vision of the Marquis De Sade's 120 Days Of Sodom, featuring beautiful and discordant classical compositions, in stark contrast to the shocking and cruel events unfolding onscreen.

Three weeks before the scandalous release of "Salò, or The 120 Days Of Sodom", Pasolini was brutally murdered in Ostia, Italy. In the wake of the tragedy, legendary composer Ennio Morricone wrote 'Addio a Pier Paolo Pasolini' (Goodbye to Pier Paolo Pasolini) for the late filmmaker, included in the final edit.

Following the narrative of one of Pasolini's defining cinematic moments, the soundtrack opens with Ennio Morricone's "Son Tanto Triste", descends into the melancholic minor chords of Bach, Chopin, Orff, Puccini, and Graziosi, incorporates sinister renditions by the cast, and includes Morricone's own sombre tribute to the director.

Disgusted by the flood of crass sexploitation movies which filled the space opened up by his "Trilogy Of Life", Pasolini turned to the most nihilistic thinker in European history for what became his final film. His version of De Sade's 120 Days Of Sodom, amplified with motifs from Dante's Inferno, confronts the ultimate implications of fascism in a series of sexual and moral atrocities. "The only true anarchy is power".

The LP / CD will be released on Friday 13th February 2026, exactly 249 years since the Marquis de Sade was arrested and imprisoned in the dungeon of the Vincennes fortress for charges of "debauchery and immoderate libertinage" that scandalised his contemporaries.

ONE LEG ONE EYE - '...And Take The Black Worm With Me'
CD £11.50 - OUT NOW!

  Bandcamp   YouTube    YouTube

As a founding member of Dublin experimental folk group LANKUM, Ian Lynch explores submerged leylines of music and song. His solo project ONE LEG ONE EYE sees him taking a fresh approach to musical arrangement culminating in a sound that is more rooted in the raw aesthetics of second wave black metal than contemporary folk.

Over the course of a year, Ian Lynch enjoyed the freedom of experimenting and exploring different paths of sound design without expectation or pressure. Seeking out interesting settings to record music and gather field recordings, the essence of which have seeped into the spirit of the music, Lynch explores rediscovered spaces in Dublin and familiar interior spaces. He frequently visited the abandoned warehouse where his father worked and sang with his shruti box, contented in his solitude.

The result is a distinct and sometimes harrowing drone-folk atmosphere conjured throughout the album's lengthy and enveloping compositions, with an eerily beautiful, immersive sadness resonating throughout.

"An immersive world of created sounds and raw, resonant singing... dazzling sounds... gorgeousness and menace... lyrics carrying oceans of sadness" (5/5, The Guardian)

Features Ian Lynch on hurdy gurdy, uilleann pipes, synth, vocals, shruti box, concertina, guitar, found sounds, and tape, with guests: Laurie Sue Shanaman (Ails, Ludicra) on vocals, and Ruth Clinton (Landless, Poor Creature) on church organ.

Only available on a one-time, long sold out CD pressing in Ireland (Nyahh Records, 2022), we now present this incredible album with an exclusive bonus track 'Sympathetic Invertebrate Ritual', recorded especially for this edition.

COIL - 'Backwards' - 2LP 'FIRE RED' + CD (SOLD OUT)
2LP 'COLD WHITE' + CD £30 | 2LP BLACK + CD £28 - OUT NOW!

  Bandcamp  Soundcloud  Soundcloud

We mark a decade since we first released Coil's landmark album 'Backwards', with a special 10 year anniversary vinyl reissue. All editions come in a gatefold matt-laminate sleeve with silver detail.

ALL ORDERS DIRECT FROM THE COLD SPRING STORE / BANDCAMP INCLUDE: THE FIRST EVER RELEASE OF THE FULL 'BACKWARDS DEMOS' (10-track CD), POSTER AND ARTCARD.

After the ground-breaking release of 1990's "Love's Secret Domain" album, Coil were not dormant; the main project was "Backwards", which was started in 1992, updated considerably between 1993 and 1995, and transferred in 1996 to New Orleans, where it was finished in the magic of the Nothing studios of Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails). The album saw the fruition of Jhonn Balance's recent vocal coaching, producing haunting, passionate vocals, while reaching new heights.

23 years after its initiation, these tracks have been beautifully preserved by Danny Hyde and are finally available in highest quality audio. Differing substantially from the later, remixed incarnation, "The New Backwards" (2008), "Backwards" contains the original versions of Coil's much-loved tracks; 'A Cold Cell' and 'Fire Of The Mind', which have appeared on various compilations over the years, and are now presented as originally intended.

HERMANN KOPP - 'Der Golem'
CD £11.50 - OUT NOW!

  Bandcamp  Soundcloud  Download

Best known for his "Nekromantik" soundtracks (Dir. Jörg Buttgereit), HERMANN KOPP composed and recorded his new soundtrack to the 1920 classic horror film "Der Golem" - a leading example of early German Expressionism by Paul Wegener.
First released in 1914, three versions of this material were made, but only the 1920 version is still available.

Using violin, viola and electronic / synthesizer sounds, the new score adds a more contemporary, sometimes noisy edge to the film, whilst not forgetting the esoteric and mysterious components of the Golem myth of Jewish folklore. Set in a ghetto of medieval Prague, the Golem, a clay hulk brought to life by a magic scroll implanted in his chest, is summoned as a protector and avenger.

The soundtrack premiered 7th March 2025 in a Parisian cinema near Place de l'Etoile - by invitation of Vincent Glaume (organiser of the legendary Au-delà du Silence events in France, who first proposed the idea to Kopp). It was also presented at Wroclaw Industrial Festival, Poland in October 2025.

Hermann Kopp started recording songs on tape in the 70's, combining his violin with a Moog imitation in a very personal and minimal approach to music, with lyrics that bordered on surrealism. After a mini-LP in 1981 and his "Pop" LP of 1983, he became the fifth member of experimental synthesizer band Keine Ahnung. After a split, Kopp was contacted by filmmaker Jörg Buttgereit to participate in the scores for "Nekromantik", later in "Der Todesking" and finally in "Nekromantik 2". He has since released a string of incredible works through labels such as Galakthorrö, 4iB Records, One Way Static, and Vinyl On Demand.

CD in matt-laminate digipak.

NEW MAILORDER IMPORTS
ABSOLUTEN CALFEUTRAIL - 'Cascade Monitor' CD (Death Continues Records) - £12

Compilation of rare and out of print tracks (2007-2017) of the great Australian Noise / Industrial / Power Electronics project. Absoluten Calfeutrail is a solo project of Mark Groves (Arum Lilies, Dead Boomers, Voice Imitator, Von Einem, and Absurd Cosmos Late Nite who play Cafe OTO 12th April). This CD encompasses tracks from the ultra-limited cassettes "Total Scum Materials", "Braybrook", "Pixie's Parasol", and a split with Y35.3. Mastered by Grant Richardson (Gnawed). Gatefold digisleeve.
AGONIST SOUNDS NO. 1 Magazine - £11.50

A documentation of the post-industrial underground. Agonist Sounds is a new publication, and specific division of Noise Receptor Journal. Notably, Agonist Sounds covers the same post-industrial territory as Noise Receptor Journal, yet the content exclusively focuses on interviews with current underground artists and labels, while articles, reviews or advertisements are entirely absent.

This first issue features in-depth interviews with: Ana Fosca, Analfabetism, Attic Shrines, Compactor, DAYOFWRATH, Death Appeal, Empty Vessel, Fanalstatt, Hounding, Lust Fist, The Nausea, Sa Bruxa, and Xiphoid Dementia.

100pp, larger format (midway between A5 and A4), perfect bound with professional greyscale print with greyscale cover art by Kristian Olsson (Alfarmania, Survival Unit, Blood Ov Thee Christ).
ARUM LILIES - 'Flinders' CD (Death Continues Records) - £12

Third Opus of this dark and disturbing Industrial / Power Electronics project of Australia's Mark Groves (Absoluten Calfeutrail, Dead Boomers, Voice Imitator, Von Einem, and Absurd Cosmos Late Nite). "This is a soundscape that pokes around the murky insanity of two brothers and their strange behaviour detailed in my publication from last year, FLINDERS... Superb audio malaise. Arum Lilies is Mark Groves in peak bleak Melbourne overdrive, the grey and the brown of 1980's Naarm, the way it used to rot before the sheds were levelled and the glass and steel moved in. The way the upholstery in the Hitachi trains stuck to your thighs. The way the Elizabeth and Flinders intersection has always been an open sore, no matter how many pot plants and Leunig bullsh*t and square metres of astro turf are laid down" (Ex Film). Mastered by Grant Richardson (Gnawed). Gatefold digisleeve.
CROOKED MOUTH - 'Cosmic Folklore' LP (Ætheric Recordings) - £23

"Cosmic Folklore", the 7th full-length album by Crooked Mouth, is a journey through the folklore and esoteric symbols of the sun, the moon, the planets, life, death, and the realm between them, as seen through the lens of the songs and traditions of Old Europe, as well as the post-modern experience of seeking the "new old ways". This album combines the Lithuanian, English, Belarusian, and French languages in an attempt to broaden the perspective on this newly emerging world view. Words are keys, but the reality they express is the door. Words and languages are perspective, but above them is a transcendent reality. The goal of this album is to perhaps point a finger upwards toward this; to whatever lies beyond the dome of the heavens. Influences from neofolk, industrial, drone, noise, psychedelic, post-punk intermingle with traditional and ritual music, creating a unique mixture. Headed by Ian Campbell, Adam Ormes and Niktorius (all of Romowe Rikoito), the album features collaborations with: Solventis, Greta Grazulyte (Gyvata), Agota Zdanaviciute (Sen Svaja), Virginija Pievos, Sol Abyssorum, Dorote Gireja, Christopher Brown (Kakophonix) on instruments such as as harmonium, hurdy gurdy, melodica, cello, glockenspiel, synths, kankles, bagpipes, flute, and acoustic guitar. Ltd x 300 copies featuring expanded artwork, full lyrics with translations, and more.
DEAD BODY LOVE - 'Low-Fi Power Carnage' CD (Old Europa Cafe) - £12

"Lo-Fi Power Carnage" was DEAD BODY LOVE's debut album, released in 1995 on OEC as a limited edition cassette (OEC 091). This album is widely considered a cornerstone of Italian harsh noise / Industrial. Dense waves of raw and rumbling harsh noise which pummels over its distinct tracks; each their own monster in strategy and manipulation. Giuliani has an uncanny ability to investigate movement within the rock bed of sound, sometimes picking apart the tones and sources with deconstruction techniques that range from static drone to the brutal and abrasive. For this 30th anniversary reissue, Gabriele Giuliani (aka Dead Body Love, Discordance, Drift, Oleoresin Capsicum) gave the album a complete remastering and included a bonus track from a rare Japanese compilation (Xerxes label) recorded in same era. "My favorite noise release of all time and was the defining release that made me finally decide to make harsh noise the primary focus of my life" (Sam McKinlay, The Rita). Ltd x 300 copies in a digipak.
DEATHPILE / DISCORDANCE - '120 Days Of Sodom' CD (Old Europa Cafe) - £12

Reissue of the cult Industrial-Noise / Power-Electronic split album originally released in 1997 (OEC), now presented on CD for the first time. DEATHPILE is Jonathan Canady's most harsh project - cult US Power Electronics from the first era. DISCORDANCE is a side project of Gabriele Giuliani (the mind behind DEAD BODY LOVE) - best Italian Noise-Industrial. "120 Days of Sodom" is accompanied by the only previously-unreleased Deathpile track, which was recorded in 2000 during the Wh*rebutcher split CDR sessions. The "weak" middle section has been replaced with a recent analogue synth recording. Gabriele / Discordance has also contributed two excellent unreleased early Discordance compositions to round out this powerful and wide-ranging CD release. Meticulously remastered by Grant Richardson (Gnawed). Ltd x 300 copies in a digipak with new artwork.
FOLKSTORM - 'For the Love of Hate + Noisient' CD (Old Europa Cafe) - £12

In 2002 Cold Meat Industry released what would be the defining moment of Folkstorm's career; "For the Love of Hate". The majority of the album was recorded "live in the studio" where Nordvargr and Ulvtharm (MZ.412) just laid down track after track with ferocious intensity and skill. You get all the classic face melting feedback noise and crushing industrial rhythms, enhanced by Nordvargr's angry vocal delivery, but also some calmer parts that give you time to breathe. Also added to the album is a remaster of the 10" vinyl "Noisient", originally released on Old Europa Cafe in 2001. These tracks were recorded in the same studio, in the same manner, in the same year, so it makes a perfect addition to this monolith of Swedish industrial music history. 6-panel digipack offering parts of the original CD and vinyl artworks.
HAL McGEE - 'Electronic Cottage' Book (Korm Plastics) - £33

In the wake of his Cause And Effect cassette label and distribution service, Hal McGee launched Electronic Cottage International Magazine. From 1989-1991, its six issues focused on the independent home recording community - artists who had developed their craft in the post-punk DIY era. The contributors were nearly all members of the hometaping community, with the magazine featuring articles providing helpful tips and highlighting the challenges they faced. It included insightful artist and label profiles and could be a hotbed of controversy and debate. Though its mission was to serve the hometaping community, Electronic Cottage's coverage of independent music contributed as much as any of the era's publications. The 400+ pages produced stand as crucial documents of an era that was melting into the next. This complete facsimile edition, designed by Studio Bertin and published by Korm Plastics, preserves the full run in a handsome hardcover format. The foreword by Jerry Kranitz, author of "Cassette Culture - Homemade Music and the Creative Spirit in the Pre-Internet Age", situates these documents within the broader history of post-punk independent arts movements. For scholars of underground music, for veterans of the tape-trading networks, for anyone seeking to understand how creativity circulated before platforms captured it - essential testimony from the heart of the cassette revolution. A hefty, heavyweight item - A4, hardcover, 468pp. Very few copies in stock - act fast!
HIMUKALT - 'Sex Worker: The Complete Recordings' 4 x CD Boxset (Old Europa Cafe) - £54

Primitive, old school industrial, with an obsessive, post-mortem feel from Himukalt. "The Sex Worker series began in 2019, as a reflection on my relationship to the sex industry. There are three cassettes in the series - all out of print, and highly collectible - published by Total Black, with my take on power electronics and death industrial, channelling the emotions of rage, mania, depression, and lust, and featuring interviews and vocals from women in the sex industry from around the world, telling their stories, expressing their place in the industry. The first two cassettes are very much a lament, seeing my own broken body in these women. My own psychological despair with my sexual addictions and dealing with the aftermath of monetizing my own sexuality. The third cassette takes a more empowering approach, emphasizing the strength, courage, and resilience of the women who persist in making pleasure their career. It's still nasty - still naughty. For this boxset, I am presenting a fourth and final chapter, with concepts turning to the way that art and commerce parallel prostitution. How my vulnerability, my creativity, my art, my noise, and my pleasure have all become a form of labor that I see as interchangeable with sex work. In this condition, I still claim my own agency, my own autonomy to express through my body, through my voice, through those bodies and voices of other women. But it's all conflicted. Full frontal and for sale. That's Himukalt" (Ester Kärkkäinen, 2025). 4 x CDs presented in a special clam-shell box, with each CD in its own printed cardboard wallet. Includes a 24pp booklet of explicit collages and photographs. Remastered by Grant Richardson (Gnawed).
INCAPACITANTS - 'Telecom Confusion' CD (Old Europa Cafe) - £12

The brand new album from INCAPACITANTS - one of the great monsters of Japanoise! A visualized cacophony of radio waves and dissonant signals... Countless communication cables stitch together the night sky and the ground of the city in chaotic disorder. They are not mere lines, but pulsating nerves, carrying streams of light, scattering sparks and bursts of static in places. In the background, a distorted silhouette of skyscrapers looms, while far away a massive antenna tilts as if tearing through the sky. The entire scene is wrapped in an unstable palette where cold fluorescent blues and deep crimson warning lights blink in uneasy alternation. On closer look, the space itself shimmers with a haze of fine glitch particles, blurring the boundary between reality and illusion? Japanese Noise project Incapacitants began in Osaka in 1981 as Toshiji Mikawa's (Hijokaidan) solo project - later joined by Fumio Kosakai (C.C.C.C.). Ltd x 300 copies in a digipak.
MURDER CORPORATION - 'Sick Thoughts' CD (Old Europa Cafe) - £12

MURDER CORPORATION returns with a brand new full album after about 10 years of silence. Harsh and sharp maniac killer Italian sounds. Murder Corporation has gained a prominent position as electronic serial slaughterer, claiming frontal attacks and sonic walls relentlessly, sampling overload and brutal distortion. Milan's Moreno Daldosso broke into 1993 with his nekro Industrial project Murder Corporation, releasing his first tape on his new label Murder Release and subsequent albums on revered albums such as Slaughter Productions, BloodLust!, Spatter, and Soffitta Macabra. From 1995, Daldosso also recorded under the guise of Mortar. Ltd x 300 copies in a digipak.
NOISE RECEPTOR #14 Magazine - £11.50

The fourteenth issue of essential zine Noise Receptor features in-depth interviews with: our own TenHornedBeast (aka Christopher Walton of the legendary Endvra), Kristoffer Oustad (Kristoffer Nyströms Orkester, Stromstad, V:28, Plague Machinery), Minimum Sentence, and Sutekh Hexen.

Features a large section of in-depth music reviews (ambient / industrial / experimental / power electronics etc), live reports, along with an archival article on Genocide Organ, written by Peter Andersson (Deutsch Nepal), with rare photos from the 1990s), and an essay on Himukalt's "Sex Worker I-IV". Kevin Gan Yuan (aka Sutekh Hexen) also supplies 10 pages of original artwork throughout.

107pp, larger format (midway between A5 and A4), perfect bound with professional greyscale print with full-colour cover art. Limited run of 600 copies - act fast!
RICHARD RAMIREZ - 'I Keep My Stuff Inside' CD (Old Europa Cafe) - £12

"I Keep My Stuff Inside" from U.S. harsh noise artist Richard Ramirez (Black Leather Jesus, Werewolf Jerusalem) was first released on vinyl in 1997 (Tesco Org.) Finally, here is the reissue of one of the best US Industrial-Noise albums ever made. Moreover, this new CD edition also includes an unreleased live bonus track recorded during the same period. Organ-like drones with a whimpering guitar distortion; guitar buzzes twanging like in a jaw harp; a metallically distorted voice which sounds like a radio preacher saying "Give me your heart" and "Lead them to me", and then all kinds of Satanist stuff. Fascinating noise... Ltd x 300 copies in a digipak.
ROD MODELL - 'Frequencies In The Fog' CD (13 / Silentes) - £13

Sound trails, minimal structures built with pads, discreet electronic elements, slow, deep and enveloping bass lines, backgrounds of confused voices treated in reverse, circular movements alternating with liquid stasis and quiet... Creaks on layered sound substrates of indecipherable nature, which seem to emerge from a thick blanket of fog that reveals fragments of real landscapes here and there, ready to disappear from view again after a few moments, once more hidden by clouds of steam in constant motion... A fantastic journey, almost "suspended" in a void, crossing immaterial, confused and evanescent landscapes. Rod Modell is a sound designer operating primarily from Detroit (with a base in Amsterdam). "A world of blurred horizons and vast, haze-soaked landscapes cloaked in flora. As ever with Modell, the moment to moment details in this one are exquisite. Between a pair of headphones listening to this record was like having tiny jolts of electricity pass directly into my brain, a sensory-rich and fascinatingly textured work" (The Moon Hangs). CD in 6-panel digisleeve.
ROD MODELL - 'Frequencies In The Fog' LP BLACK (13 / Silentes) - £24

Black vinyl edition of the above release, in full-colour sleeve.
ROD MODELL - 'Frequencies In The Fog' LP CLEAR (13 / Silentes) - £27

Clear vinyl edition of the above release, in full-colour sleeve with hand-numbered insert. Ltd x 150 copies only - already sold out from the label!
ROD MODELL - 'Grotto Of The Sun' CD (13 / Silentes) - £13

Winding through cavernous and dark meanders, amid gurgling water, rustling sounds, low and deep pulsations, incisive and impactful sound masses, floating waves, crystalline drips, sudden rays of light, electronic spirals, and unexpected openings onto almost soothing soundscapes and quiet environmental stasis, Rod Modell paints musical textures that are apparently abstract and contemplative, but in reality charged with pathos and drama, taking advantage of a spectacular, enveloping and surprising sound quality, in which every nuance and every small detail makes the listening experience even more intense and engaging. A new exciting masterpiece by the ambient maestro. "The presence of water is a constant companion here, the reassuring weighty and swaying textures of a warm current swirling over you - elsewhere the sounds of small spouts trickling down stone walls. Utter hypnotic bliss" (The Moon Hangs). CD in 6-panel digisleeve.
ROD MODELL - 'Grotto Of The Sun' LP BLACK (13 / Silentes) - £24

Black vinyl edition of the above release, in full-colour sleeve.
ROD MODELL - 'Grotto Of The Sun' LP CLEAR (13 / Silentes) - £27

SPK - 'Auto-Da-Fé' CD (Old Europa Cafe) - £13.50

Reissue of the legendary SPK album "Auto-Da-Fé", originally released by Walter Ulbricht Schallfolien in 1983 and later by Mute's sublabel Grey Area / SPK & Lustmord's label Side-Effects in 1993. "Auto-Da-Fé" is a collection of SPK's singles from 1978-1979. The first five tracks are basically a scratchy thrashy punk sound, augmented by synthesizers and samples. Guitars grind, electronics screech, and metal is most thoroughly bashed. A highlight of these early works (and album), is the deranged 'Slogun'. The intro to the song, a demented echoing clucking and quacking, leads into a pulverising mechanical grind. Surely a candidate for most extreme song of the late 70's. The next three tracks come from 1981 when a more synth-oriented sound was discovered. 'Metal Field' and 'Walking on Dead Steps', ever-so-slightly catchy, creepy, with militaristic overtones. 'A Heart that Breaks (In No Time Or Place)', is the stand-out here; a minimalistic, almost EBM track, as an impassioned female voice narrates the amazingly bitter lyrics, while seemingly random percussion bashes quietly in the background. On the final three tracks (from 1982), a kind of shamanic quality has overcome the music, with a tribal, mystical sound. Synth-drum beats hold the songs together, as metallic-percussion inject the tracks with a hint of randomness and confusion. Vocals are no longer shouted, but delivered calmly, and the synth backing is created through drones, rather than beeps and stabs. Every single one of these 11 tracks is of highest Industrial quality, with the rough sound of the era. From Industrial-Noise textures to Punk trappings to more danceable Industrial Angst-Pop, this is a selection of great SPK hits that made the history of Industrial Muzak. 6-panel digipak with booklet, including a new introduction by Graeme Revell, written at the end of 2025.
TWELVE DEADLY SECONDS - 'Black Flights' CD (Old Europa Cafe) - £12

A new devastating alliance in the Italian Power Electronics / Industrial underground. "Black Flights" marks the first collaboration between: UNCODIFIED (Corrado Altieri of Candor Chasma, New Processean Order, TH26), FUNERALE CLASSICO ITALIANO, and WERTHAM / CALIGULA031. Oppressive patterns, high-octane harsh frequencies, distorted field recordings, and tortured vocals. The album is a cold, methodical document of disaster rendered in harsh audio - an autopsy of aviation tragedies through a power electronics lens. A thematic descent into airborne catastrophe, drawing from a wide range of real-life aerial tragedies: hijackings, mid-air explosions, deadly crashes, and terrorist attacks. Each track offers a different lens into the moment when human control fails, and death takes over the sky. Brace! Brace! Brace! Ltd x 300 copies in a 6-panel digipak, visually enhanced by digital reinterpretations of Walter Molino's catastrophic illustrations for La Domenica del Corriere - famed for their sensationalism.

ROGER DOYLE - 'Rapid Eye Movements' CD (Silverdoor) - £13

This album contains six experimental / electroacoustic works composed by Roger Doyle 1968-1980, originally released on vinyl by United Dairies (Nurse With Wound's label) under the moniker of Operating Theatre. Upon its initial release in 1981, Sounds magazine wrote: "without doubt one of the most exhilarating LPs and unorthodox concepts ever submitted to vinyl". Human beings experience two types of sleep, which are categorised by the eye movements associated with them: REM (Rapid Eye Movement or dream sleep) and non-REM. In REM sleep, beneath the eyelids, the eyes move around, just as if their owner were wide awake and watching something. The tracks were recorded at the Experimental Music Studios of Finnish Radio (Kokeilustudio Yleisradio) in Helsinki, the Royal Irish Academy Of Music, a hotel room in Paris, Archie Simpson's Ninth Lock House, on location around Dublin, at Willow Studios and at The Institute Of Sonology in Utrecht. Doyle has often been named "The Godfather of Irish Electronica" due to being an early pioneer in the genre. Remastered with bonus tracks 'Piano Suite' and 'Why Is Kilkenny So Good?'. Repackaged in a jewelcase with booklet containing an interview with Roger Doyle originally published in Adverse Effect magazine. Ltd x 200 copies.
ROGER DOYLE - 'Thalia / Oizzo No' CD (Silverdoor) - £13

The music on this album represents Roger Doyle's early works, re-packaged and re-mastered. It includes his extremely rare self-released 1975 debut LP "Oizzo No" and his second LP "Thalia" from 1978 (which featured on the Nurse With Wound list), originally released on CBS Classics, now all on the one 77 minute album. The earliest piece is 'Bitter-Sweet Suite' for out-of-tune piano composed when he was 18, and the latest, 'Thalia', his first large-scale electronic work, composed at the age of 26. "Thalia’s surrealist blends of vintage modular synths, field recording and original instrumentation really are trés bizarro in the best, most immersive way - highly recommended if you're into Nurse With Wound, Roland Kayn, ELpH or Chris Marker... playfully psychedelic, abstract '70s concrète compositions, 'Oizzo No' [is] one of the most beguiling, unpredictable and varied sides ever heard from the Irish avant garde" (Boomkat). Recorded at Institue Of Sonology, University of Utrecht in The Netherlands, Saint Catherine's Church in Dublin, Saint Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin, and on location / in studio in Dublin.. Jewelcase.
SŌON (ADI NEWTON & JACK DANGERS) - 'Actions Made Audible (Extended Edition)' CD (Electronic Sound) - £12

Extended edition of the limited blue vinyl released in March last year. Sōon is a new project from two legends of electronic music: Adi Newton (Clock DVA, T.A.G.C.), and Jack Dangers (Meat Beat Manifesto). An uncanny and thrilling adventure in pure electronics and tape archive; an exploration of theoretical frameworks for a new kind of thinking expounded by psychedelic intellectuals like Aldous Huxley. It's a celebration and continuation of a post-war era when avant-garde western thought was edging towards cosmic consciousness with an avant-garde electronic music to match it. "Actions Made Audible" is a fantastical aural journey though spectral dimensions and psychedelic radiophonics, with exquisite sound design and beat making, floating between a sonic evocation of a mushroom trip, to a time when adventurers in sound were capturing interference from the ghostly on reel-to-reel recorders in suburban London living rooms. Gorgeous swirls and arpeggios, haunting Berlin School beauty, machines and Mellotron tapes in heart-stopping harmony. There was so much great material from the Sōon sessions, this deluxe version of the album features six new tracks, more than doubling the length of the original vinyl version. Digipak.

VIDNA OBMANA - 'Twilight Of Perception Redux Volume Three 1996-2006' 3 x CD (Zoharum) - £20

The third instalment in a series of compilations from VIDNA OBMANA (aka Dirk Serries, also of Fear Falls Burning) is a collection of rare recordings 1996-2006 - 13 of the tracks here are previously unpublished, with the other tracks (released by the likes of Projekt Records, Cue Records, and Escape 3 Organisation) scattered across various compilations, small formats, which are now practically unobtainable. Over these 18 ambient / shamanic tracks, Serries offers atmospheres created using various fujaras, overtone flutes and percussion, dreampipe, recycling and abstract mutations, and voices. These tracks have been collected in one place, rearranged, remastered and provided with a proper commentary by Dirk Serries. Ltd x 300 copies in an 8-panel double digipak with graphics designed using a photos by Martina Veerhoeven.
THIS MORN' OMINA - 'Insha' CD (Zazen Sounds / Cyclic Law) - £12

With "Insha", This Morn' Omina crosses a new threshold within its long-established ritual universe. The album marks both a return and an expansion, retracing paths once considered barren, and reopening them as gateways to origin forces and primal intention. Created in close collaboration with Konchong-Gyaltsen (Nam-Khar)," Insha" is rooted in convergence rather than continuity. Untethered from the logic of trilogies or cyclical narratives, it functions as a focused exploration of manifestation, examining the energetic mechanics that allow ritual, intention, and matter to emerge. Musically, "Insha" bridges the organic, ceremonial vitality that defined the early works of This Morn' Omina, interwoven with the structured, rhythmic pulse developed in later releases. The result is a dense, immersive work where ritual percussion, incantatory textures, and industrial discipline coexist in a unified ceremonial flow. "Insha" stands as a significant statement within the contemporary ritual sound landscape; an act of re-alignment, reconnecting essence and motion, origin and execution. It is both invocation and observation - a sonic examination of how intention becomes reality, and how ritual sound continues to operate as a tool of transformation. Presented in a 6-panel spot-varnished digisleeve. Already sold out from the label! Very few copies in stock - ACT FAST!
ORGANUM ELECTRONICS - 'Fiire' 7" (Die Stadt) - £13

A short(er) blast and a typical example of Organun Electronics' (David Jackman) Happy Noise. First (and last ?) Organum Electronics music on vinyl. Two musically related 7" records (this and the David Jackman "Das Kreuz" 7" above - BUNDLE AVAILABLE!), are released in tandem. "In recent years, Jackman's recordings released under his own name presented shimmering drones, the cawing of ravens, bells and gongs in variations and permutations, while the harsh "electronic" recordings made as Organum Electronics partially harked back to Organum's noisy early work . While this strict separation had been lifted on the last two albums the musical direction on the two newly released singles returns to its usual style. "Fiire" continues the series of releases with idiosyncratic spelling, and as soon as the needle hits the vinyl, there is immediately that typical sound that has characterized all Organum Electronics releases of recent years: a metallic-sounding, dense, almost static wall of sound, which always contains a certain restlessness, only here condensed and reduced to a few minutes each, which end abruptly" (African Paper). Ltd x 150 copies. BUNDLE: ORGANUM ELECTRONICS 'Fiire' + DAVID JACKMAN 'Das Kreuz' -2 x 7" tandem releases - £24.
DIRK SERRIES - 'The Might Of Stars Sublime' CD (Audiophob) - £12

Veteran ambient / experimental composer Dirk Serries is internationally known for his alter-egos vidnaObmana and Fear Falls Burning. Drawing from his oeuvre and experience in ambient and experimental music, like his acclaimed Microphonics project, "The Might Of Stars Sublime" feels familiar, close to home, but simultaneously creates another dimension in his realm of ambient music. This album leads the listener through a trip of minimalism, a sense of grandeur, a specific harmonic quality and beautiful ambient music which becomes full circle in "'The Stars Sublime', probably his most iconic and striking piece of music he made so far while it resembles a feeling that's mutual with his iconic and acclaimed piece 'Microphonics XXIII - There's A Light In Vein' (2013). Digipak.
ASMUS TIETCHENS - 'Conclusio' CD (Die Stadt) - £13.50

New studio album by German sound veteran Asmus Tietchens and a return to his more industrial music roots, typIfied by the title of the album's opening track 'German Angst'. 12 new eerie tracks of his "absolute music" recorded 2025, with a truly fitting EM Cioran quote: "Everything is heading towards ugliness and gangrene: This globe - it festers, and the living display their wounds, upon which the rays of the luminous ulcer fall". African Paper says in its review: "...particularly uncanny, permeated by an atmosphere of the unsettling. The image inside the CD of a person's face with their mouth wide open in a scream, the stark interior of the cover, and the image on the back with the word 'Dissolution' all contribute to sending shivers down your spine". Ltd x 300 copies in a digipak.
PAUL SCHÜTZE - 'The Mosaic Of Starlight Slips Back Like The Lid Of An Opening Eye' 2 x CD (Auf Abwegen) - £16.50

Darker ambient and organic, textural electronica from Paul Schütze. "This piece is the newest element in the ongoing Garden Of Instruments project which began in 1997 with "Second Site". Since then the project has expanded to include sound, writings, video, virtual photography, printmaking, light-boxes, installations and lenticulars. The new piece, which at one hour and twenty-five minutes is broken across two CDs, further explores the astronomical / architectural phenomena of the Janta Manta instruments. To me they have always stood as monuments that collapse the illusions of time and place: non places that bend chronology and thinking in unprecedented ways; physical markers of paradigm shift and poly sensory exploration" (Paul Schütze). Composed by Paul Schütze on electronics, steel drums, and melodica, the album also features bowed guitar, e-bow and electronic textures and loops by Daniel Pennie (Nose In Your Eye). Ltd x 300 copies in a gatefold 6-panel digisleeve.
DOMINIQUE GRIMAUD & VÉRONIQUE VILHET - 'Sur Les Bords' LP (ADN) - £22

Dominique Grimaud, a historical figure in French musical avant-garde, is known as a founding member of Camizole and Video Aventures, two groups that profoundly shaped the underground scene of the 1970's in France. Over the years, Grimaud continued to explore new sonic territories, moving from pioneering use of analogue synthesizers and early samplers in the 70's, to integrating elements of Delta blues in the 90's, and eventually returning to electronics in the new century. "Sur les bords" created together with percussionist Véronique Vilhet, represents a mature synthesis of these experiences. The music unfolds in a rough and deep manner, guided by the "thousand voices" of Grimaud's treated guitars and spinet, while Vilhet's percussion and ethereal voice creates a dense, echoing and hypnotic sonic tapestry. The presence of David Fenech, a guitarist and composer among the most relevant of the new French experimental scene, known for his collaborations with figures such as Nurse With Wound, Jac Berrocal, and Pascal Comelade, further enriches the project. The result is a work that reflects the richness and complexity of the French underground scene: music born from the rejection of market-imposed rules, from the desire to experiment and create alternative artistic communities, and which continues to influence new generations of musicians in France and abroad. Ltd x 300 copies.
VARIOUS ARTISTS - 'Electric Dead Speak. Music Inspired By The Electronic Voice Phenomenon' CD (Eighth Tower Records / Unexplained Sounds) - £12

This compilation dedicated to the Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP) delves into one of the most fascinating and disturbing frontiers of sound and human perception. Across twelve tracks created by artists active in the post-industrial and dark ambient scene, the release investigates the mysterious intersections between technology, death, and the persistence of consciousness. EVP, documented since the 1950's, refers to the capture of inexplicable voices on magnetic tape or digital media, often interpreted as messages from the dead or transmissions from other dimensions. Whether one believes in their paranormal origin or considers them the by-product of noise and human projection, these sounds occupy a zone where the boundaries between science and mysticism, signal and hallucination, are erased. The artists involved translate that uncertainty into a dense fabric of drones, mechanical pulsations, spectral harmonics, and decomposed field recordings. The album functions as an aural séance; a shared act of listening where every sound could be a transmission from elsewhere. In a time when artificial intelligence and algorithmic processes increasingly mediate perception, EVP returns as a powerful metaphor for our relationship with the unknown; the desire to hear what is not meant to be heard. Features: RhaD, Yousef Kawar, Kokum, Sílení, Pnévmma, Mario Lino Stancati, Richard Bégin, Oubys, The Resa, Nerthus, Nikos Sotirelis, and Insectarium. Ltd x 150 copies (CD proper) in a 6-panel digipak.
BLACK VAULT - 'Death Obsessed' CD (Dunkelheit Produktionen) - £12

Behold the return of mighty Black Vault from Denmark. After their debut "Hymns To The Great Devourer" the knives have been sharpened. "Death Obsessed" is beautifully murky and Scandinavian old school, evoking feelings of disturbing morbidity and atmospheric bliss at the same time. The album forms a true monolith of atmospheric Death / Black Industrial, which is oftentimes so painfully missed in our plastic age. Danish death enthusiasm reigns supreme as Black Vault shows how it is done. Decay is transformed into old school sonic pulses and haunting waves. In our times of oversaturation and uninspired form, "Death Obsessed" is one of those very few releases that could still be called a landmark. Frequencies of analogue death gone rampant. Mastered by Grant Richardson (Gnawed). Ltd x 200 hand-numbered copies.
PALAIS IDEAL - 'Here And Now' CD (Dark Vinyl) - £12

Drawing deeply from the spirit of 80's post-punk and new wave, PALAIS IDEAL - John Edwards (vocals, guitar, synths) and Richard van Kruysdijk (bass, drums, synths, backing vocals) - have crafted a style of their own, evolving with each release. Since forming in 2017, PALAIS IDEAL have toured extensively across Europe and the UK, sharing stages with acts like Wire and Clan Of Xymox and steadily building a dedicated following. After being forced to reschedule their European tour three times during the pandemic, John and Richard turned their focus inward, to the studio. The result is their brand-new album, "Here And Now", the duo's fourth full-length release. This record highlights the energetic edge the NL/UK pair are known for in their powerful live shows. Influenced by The Cure, New Order, The Sound and Ultravox, a must FFO contemporary bands á la She Past Away, Lebanon Hanover. Produced by Pieter Kloos (Motorpsycho), bringing a fresh sonic intensity to their work. 6-panel ecopak with booklet poster.
