DEREK JARMAN - 'Through The Billboard Promised Land Without Ever Stopping'
LP £20 Adv. OUT 31st MAR

  Bandcamp  Soundcloud

Written in 1971 and read here by the author himself "Through the Billboard Promised Land Without Ever Stopping" is Derek Jarman's only known work of narrative fiction.

Providing a prelude to some of the imagery Derek Jarman would use later in his career, particularly the alchemical dreamscapes in the film "Blue", it is a surreal, hallucinatory fairytale, signposted with elements of modernity, that has much of the mythic and archetypal about it.

With tantalising autobiographical details and a panoply of chromatic landscapes and psychosexual symbols, this richly poetic story details a journey with no destination or purpose across a mythical America, undertaken by the young blind King Amethyst and his valet John.

Previously only ever released on cassette (2022, Prototype Publishing, Ltd 80), this vinyl edition features facsimile images of the story's handwritten drafts from Jarman's archive and photos by the artist Michael Ginsborg, a close friend of Jarman's throughout the period of the story's writing.

Ltd x 500 copies on heavyweight 180gm black vinyl in gloss sleeve.

VA - 'Salò or The 120 Days Of Sodom' -
LP 'BLOOD RED' £23 Adv. - OUT 17th MARCH 2026 | CD £11. - OUT NOW!

Bandcamp  Soundcloud

The first time on any format for Pier Paolo Pasolini's controversial 1975 vision of the Marquis De Sade's 120 Days Of Sodom, featuring beautiful and discordant classical compositions, in stark contrast to the shocking and cruel events unfolding onscreen.

Three weeks before the scandalous release of "Salò, or The 120 Days Of Sodom", Pasolini was brutally murdered in Ostia, Italy. In the wake of the tragedy, legendary composer Ennio Morricone wrote 'Addio a Pier Paolo Pasolini' (Goodbye to Pier Paolo Pasolini) for the late filmmaker, included in the final edit.

Following the narrative of one of Pasolini's defining cinematic moments, the soundtrack opens with Ennio Morricone's "Son Tanto Triste", descends into the melancholic minor chords of Bach, Chopin, Orff, Puccini, and Graziosi, incorporates sinister renditions by the cast, and includes Morricone's own sombre tribute to the director.

Disgusted by the flood of crass sexploitation movies which filled the space opened up by his "Trilogy Of Life", Pasolini turned to the most nihilistic thinker in European history for what became his final film. His version of De Sade's 120 Days Of Sodom, amplified with motifs from Dante's Inferno, confronts the ultimate implications of fascism in a series of sexual and moral atrocities. "The only true anarchy is power".

The LP / CD will be released on Friday 13th February 2026, exactly 249 years since the Marquis de Sade was arrested and imprisoned in the dungeon of the Vincennes fortress for charges of "debauchery and immoderate libertinage" that scandalised his contemporaries.

ONE LEG ONE EYE - '...And Take The Black Worm With Me'
CD £11.50 - OUT NOW!

  Bandcamp   YouTube    YouTube

As a founding member of Dublin experimental folk group LANKUM, Ian Lynch explores submerged leylines of music and song. His solo project ONE LEG ONE EYE sees him taking a fresh approach to musical arrangement culminating in a sound that is more rooted in the raw aesthetics of second wave black metal than contemporary folk.

Over the course of a year, Ian Lynch enjoyed the freedom of experimenting and exploring different paths of sound design without expectation or pressure. Seeking out interesting settings to record music and gather field recordings, the essence of which have seeped into the spirit of the music, Lynch explores rediscovered spaces in Dublin and familiar interior spaces. He frequently visited the abandoned warehouse where his father worked and sang with his shruti box, contented in his solitude.

The result is a distinct and sometimes harrowing drone-folk atmosphere conjured throughout the album's lengthy and enveloping compositions, with an eerily beautiful, immersive sadness resonating throughout.

"An immersive world of created sounds and raw, resonant singing... dazzling sounds... gorgeousness and menace... lyrics carrying oceans of sadness" (5/5, The Guardian)

Features Ian Lynch on hurdy gurdy, uilleann pipes, synth, vocals, shruti box, concertina, guitar, found sounds, and tape, with guests: Laurie Sue Shanaman (Ails, Ludicra) on vocals, and Ruth Clinton (Landless, Poor Creature) on church organ.

Only available on a one-time, long sold out CD pressing in Ireland (Nyahh Records, 2022), we now present this incredible album with an exclusive bonus track 'Sympathetic Invertebrate Ritual', recorded especially for this edition.

COIL - 'Backwards' - 2LP 'FIRE RED' + CD (SOLD OUT)
2LP 'COLD WHITE' + CD £30 | 2LP BLACK + CD £28 - OUT NOW!

  Bandcamp  Soundcloud  Soundcloud

We mark a decade since we first released Coil's landmark album 'Backwards', with a special 10 year anniversary vinyl reissue. All editions come in a gatefold matt-laminate sleeve with silver detail.

ALL ORDERS DIRECT FROM THE COLD SPRING STORE / BANDCAMP INCLUDE: THE FIRST EVER RELEASE OF THE FULL 'BACKWARDS DEMOS' (10-track CD), POSTER AND ARTCARD.

After the ground-breaking release of 1990's "Love's Secret Domain" album, Coil were not dormant; the main project was "Backwards", which was started in 1992, updated considerably between 1993 and 1995, and transferred in 1996 to New Orleans, where it was finished in the magic of the Nothing studios of Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails). The album saw the fruition of Jhonn Balance's recent vocal coaching, producing haunting, passionate vocals, while reaching new heights.

23 years after its initiation, these tracks have been beautifully preserved by Danny Hyde and are finally available in highest quality audio. Differing substantially from the later, remixed incarnation, "The New Backwards" (2008), "Backwards" contains the original versions of Coil's much-loved tracks; 'A Cold Cell' and 'Fire Of The Mind', which have appeared on various compilations over the years, and are now presented as originally intended.

HERMANN KOPP - 'Der Golem'
CD £11.50 - OUT NOW!

  Bandcamp  Soundcloud  Download

Best known for his "Nekromantik" soundtracks (Dir. Jörg Buttgereit), HERMANN KOPP composed and recorded his new soundtrack to the 1920 classic horror film "Der Golem" - a leading example of early German Expressionism by Paul Wegener.
First released in 1914, three versions of this material were made, but only the 1920 version is still available.

Using violin, viola and electronic / synthesizer sounds, the new score adds a more contemporary, sometimes noisy edge to the film, whilst not forgetting the esoteric and mysterious components of the Golem myth of Jewish folklore. Set in a ghetto of medieval Prague, the Golem, a clay hulk brought to life by a magic scroll implanted in his chest, is summoned as a protector and avenger.

The soundtrack premiered 7th March 2025 in a Parisian cinema near Place de l'Etoile - by invitation of Vincent Glaume (organiser of the legendary Au-delà du Silence events in France, who first proposed the idea to Kopp). It was also presented at Wroclaw Industrial Festival, Poland in October 2025.

Hermann Kopp started recording songs on tape in the 70's, combining his violin with a Moog imitation in a very personal and minimal approach to music, with lyrics that bordered on surrealism. After a mini-LP in 1981 and his "Pop" LP of 1983, he became the fifth member of experimental synthesizer band Keine Ahnung. After a split, Kopp was contacted by filmmaker Jörg Buttgereit to participate in the scores for "Nekromantik", later in "Der Todesking" and finally in "Nekromantik 2". He has since released a string of incredible works through labels such as Galakthorrö, 4iB Records, One Way Static, and Vinyl On Demand.

NEW MAILORDER IMPORTS
ASMUS TIETCHENS - 'Conclusio' CD (Die Stadt) - £13.50

New studio album by German sound veteran Asmus Tietchens and a return to his more industrial music roots, typIfied by the title of the album's opening track 'German Angst'. 12 new eerie tracks of his "absolute music" recorded 2025, with a truly fitting EM Cioran quote: "Everything is heading towards ugliness and gangrene: This globe - it festers, and the living display their wounds, upon which the rays of the luminous ulcer fall". African Paper says in its review: "...particularly uncanny, permeated by an atmosphere of the unsettling. The image inside the CD of a person's face with their mouth wide open in a scream, the stark interior of the cover, and the image on the back with the word 'Dissolution' all contribute to sending shivers down your spine". Ltd x 300 copies in a digipak.
B°TONG - 'Zenihilist' CD (Krater / Audiophob) - £12

"Zenihilist" is the new album by Chris Sigdell (b°tong, BU.D.D.A., NID). It marks 20 years of research in the obscure and ambient world of hostile soundscapes under the name of b°tong. "Zenihilist" playfully sides nihilism with the mystic teachings of zen. The title is not only a word-play on zen and nihilism, but also a pun on an ordinary German's pronunciation of the English word "the". His songs display a wicked sense humour and rely much on the concept of instant spontaneity - or composition on the spot. "Zenihilist" took form over less than a year and was made with guitar, synthesiser, samples and voice. It continues the soft ambient approach introduced on 2023's "A Fleeting Moment Of Superabundance". Nihil is zen is nihil. Digipak.
B°TONG / CLAUS POULSEN - 'A Study In Motion' CD (Krater / Audiophob) - £11.50

An enchanted listening pleasure of the darker drone-ambient side, "A Study In Motion" brings together the talents of Danish musician Claus Poulsen (Star Turbine, Eardrops, Small Things On Sundays) and Swedish born sound-artist b°tong (Chris Sigdell, also of BU.D.D.A. and NID). The duo met in Copenhagen and recorded three spontaneous sessions, which turned out so well it was decided Claus would mix them. The result is "A Study In Motion", an album themed around b°tong's public transport travels during his tour in September 2023, which took him from Copenhagen to Trondheim and places in between. The album reflects Scandinavian wanderlust and fatalistic life approach - especially at the turn of the 19th Century. Claus Poulsen on zither, electronics, turntables and samples, with Chris Sigdell on guitar, synthesizer, samples, and voice. Presented in a gatefold digisleeve.
DARKRAD - '13 Years Of Melancholia' CD + 7" Boxset (Audiophob) - £23

Darkrad celebrates 13 years of existence with this exquisite boxset: a CD with new material, live concert tracks and remixes from Mandelbrot, Aphexia, Chaotalion, Anatoly Grinberg and Alarmen, as well as a joint track with Flint Glass. Furthermore you will find a 7" single with two additional brand new tracks and a set of artwork prints.

Jana 'Dark' Komaritsa, the mastermind behind Darkrad, is a multidisciplinary artist, from visual arts to music, curation and event promotion, to videography and performance. This release is a subtle mix of various electronic music genres, with the focus being kept on the realm of dark ambient, where Darkrad continues experiments with voice and soundscapes, creating a murky atmosphere of her dark and intimate universe, where pure unrestrained emotions are brought to the surface.

"13 Years of Melancholia" is a sophisticated artistic journey, where you might either find or lose yourself, while wandering in the gloomy and melancholic passageways of the artist's mystery. "Melancholy is one of the most profound feelings. It offers your soul the comfort, while at the same time drowns you into anguish, being quiet, pervasive and emotional at the same time".

Ltd x 100 numbered copies in a beautiful black card box with foil-block silver print containing the CD in digipak, 7" in its own sleeve, and three inlay prints. Very few in stock!
DAVID JACKMAN - 'Das Kreuz' 7" (Die Stadt) - £13

"Das Kreuz" from David Jackman (Organum Electronics) offers a crackling nostalgic atmosphere. Two musically related 7" records (this and the Organum Electronics "Fiire" 7" below - BUNDLE AVAILABLE!), are released in tandem. "Das Kreuz is a particularly stripped-down version of the soundscape [of "Fiire"]: birds chirp, crows caw, a bell tolls, and a repeating piano melody plays in the very background. Overall, these two pieces sound almost like a field recording, as if you were standing in a remote village and heard someone playing the piano in the distance" (African Paper). Ltd x 150 copies.
DIRK SERRIES - 'The Might Of Stars Sublime' CD (Audiophob) - £12

Veteran ambient / experimental composer Dirk Serries is internationally known for his alter-egos vidnaObmana and Fear Falls Burning. Drawing from his oeuvre and experience in ambient and experimental music, like his acclaimed Microphonics project, "The Might Of Stars Sublime" feels familiar, close to home, but simultaneously creates another dimension in his realm of ambient music. This album leads the listener through a trip of minimalism, a sense of grandeur, a specific harmonic quality and beautiful ambient music which becomes full circle in "'The Stars Sublime', probably his most iconic and striking piece of music he made so far while it resembles a feeling that's mutual with his iconic and acclaimed piece 'Microphonics XXIII - There's A Light In Vein' (2013). Digipak.
DOMINIQUE GRIMAUD & VÉRONIQUE VILHET - 'Sur Les Bords' LP (ADN) - £22

Dominique Grimaud, a historical figure in French musical avant-garde, is known as a founding member of Camizole and Video Aventures, two groups that profoundly shaped the underground scene of the 1970's in France. Over the years, Grimaud continued to explore new sonic territories, moving from pioneering use of analogue synthesizers and early samplers in the 70's, to integrating elements of Delta blues in the 90's, and eventually returning to electronics in the new century. "Sur les bords" created together with percussionist Véronique Vilhet, represents a mature synthesis of these experiences. The music unfolds in a rough and deep manner, guided by the "thousand voices" of Grimaud's treated guitars and spinet, while Vilhet's percussion and ethereal voice creates a dense, echoing and hypnotic sonic tapestry. The presence of David Fenech, a guitarist and composer among the most relevant of the new French experimental scene, known for his collaborations with figures such as Nurse With Wound, Jac Berrocal, and Pascal Comelade, further enriches the project. The result is a work that reflects the richness and complexity of the French underground scene: music born from the rejection of market-imposed rules, from the desire to experiment and create alternative artistic communities, and which continues to influence new generations of musicians in France and abroad. Ltd x 300 copies.
EARDROPS - 'Gravity Has No Right To Define Up And Down' CD (Krater / Audiophob) - £11.50

Eardrops is a collaboration between Augsburg's Claus Poulsen Claus Poulsen (Star Turbine, Eardrops, Small Things On Sundays, Blind Man's Band) and Sascha Stadlmeier (EMERGE / Bu.d.d.A.) improvising together, using zither, violin, electronics and field recordings. They concentrate on melodic and minimal soundscapes that classify as dark ambient, but with a droney, experimental edge, setting Eardrops apart from the members' other musical projects. The duo builds images for the inner mind, taking the listener away from daily life into unknown territories. Although the music has a peaceful atmosphere at first glance, delicate layers in the deep evoke feelings of something dark and unsettling. Gatefold digisleeve.
JARL - 'Nerve Cell Threads Electronics' CD (Zoharum) - £11.50

On his brand new album, Swedish musician Jarl (Eric Jarl of IRM, ex-Skin Area) refers to the themes that accompanied the creation of his trilogy on the brain and the nervous system, making the new publication an informal, fourth part of the series in which he touches on the topics of those three previous CDs: neurotransmitters, receptors and synapses. The album contains four tracks called 'Electrical Impulse 1-4', filling nearly 60 minutes. This time the tracks has a more dark ambient tone / sound, but still psychedelic, melodic, restrained and sometimes intense, with percussive layers and sequencer based with thick analogue sounds that slowly evolve into other sounds. Mastered by Peter Andersson (Raison D'Etre). Ltd x 300 copies in a 6-panel digipak with artwork by Karolina Urbaniak.
LA STPO - 'L'Oeil Au Centre De L'Oeil' CD (ADN) - £12

"L'oeil au centre de l'oeil" distils four decades of avant-garde experimentation by La STPO (La Société des Timides à la Parade des Oiseaux / The Shy Society At The Bird Parade) into a collection where tumultuous rhythms, surrealist poetry, and unrestrained instrumentation converge. The structures mirror the disjointed vividness of dreams, mapping an abstract and ever-changing sonic landscape; a whirlwind of meticulously orchestrated chaos. Brief but densely orchestrated pieces are woven from electric guitars, xylophones, brass, woodwinds, metallic percussion, with wildly inventive vocal deliveries that blur the lines between music and theatre. Echoes of Etron Fou Leloublan, Albert Marcoeur, and Rock In Opposition's broader legacy animate the album's backbone, as do traces of This Heat, The Residents, and King Crimson, all filtered through La STPO's prism of sharp theatricality and "dadaized" rock. "L'oeil au centre de l'oeil bristles" with anxiety: structures stretch and contract, vocals morph from whispered incantations to full-throated exclamations, and tension mounts only to dissipate in unexpected directions. Original, irreverent, and ceaselessly curious about the outer limits of musical narration - an ever-changing tapestry of surrealist sound and dream logic. Digipak.
LUCUSFAUNI - 'Larth Purthne (Laukume, Dictator, Dvx)' CD (Zazen Sounds) - £12

Dungeon Synth / Dark Ambient, recommended for fans of Mortiis, Wongraven, and Burzum. This new work from Lucusfauni focuses on the figure of Lars Porsenna, Lucumone of Chiusi (late 6th century BC), perhaps the most emblematic figure of the political and priestly caste of ancient Etruria. He besieged Rome to help the deposed Lucius Tarquinius Superbus (Etruscan King of Rome) to put an end to the Roman monarchy. Written testimonies convey the power of his troops and his authority during the period - the track 'Assedio' takes us back to those moments of weapons and relentless marches, of desperate Etruscan reaction to the proclamation of the Roman republic. 'Reqviem' is a haunting funeral litany that accompanies the search for the legendary tomb of Porsenna, of which only modern reconstructions in museums remain. These new hymns are characterised by v dilated tempos that confer solemnity and epicness. Features a cover of the 'Rasna Henthu Macstrevc' by Exaltatio Diaboli, from the album "Indomitvs" (2024). May His spirit still fight for the salvation of Etruria. All music by Noktvrnal (Ad Omega, A Monumental Black Statue, Deviate Damaen). Gatefold digisleeve. Already sold out from the label! Very few copies in stock - ACT FAST!
ORGANUM ELECTRONICS - 'Fiire' 7" (Die Stadt) - £13

A short(er) blast and a typical example of Organun Electronics' (David Jackman) Happy Noise. First (and last ?) Organum Electronics music on vinyl. Two musically related 7" records (this and the David Jackman "Das Kreuz" 7" above - BUNDLE AVAILABLE!), are released in tandem. "In recent years, Jackman's recordings released under his own name presented shimmering drones, the cawing of ravens, bells and gongs in variations and permutations, while the harsh "electronic" recordings made as Organum Electronics partially harked back to Organum's noisy early work . While this strict separation had been lifted on the last two albums the musical direction on the two newly released singles returns to its usual style. "Fiire" continues the series of releases with idiosyncratic spelling, and as soon as the needle hits the vinyl, there is immediately that typical sound that has characterized all Organum Electronics releases of recent years: a metallic-sounding, dense, almost static wall of sound, which always contains a certain restlessness, only here condensed and reduced to a few minutes each, which end abruptly" (African Paper). Ltd x 150 copies.
BUNDLE: ORGANUM ELECTRONICS + DAVID JACKMAN - 'Fiire' 7" + 'Das Kreuz' 7" (Die Stadt) - £24

Both 7" tandem releases above from ORGANUM ELECTRONICS + DAVID JACKMAN at a combined price (and lower overseas shipping).
THIS MORN' OMINA - 'Insha' CD (Zazen Sounds / Cyclic Law) - £12

With "Insha", This Morn' Omina crosses a new threshold within its long-established ritual universe. The album marks both a return and an expansion, retracing paths once considered barren, and reopening them as gateways to origin forces and primal intention. Created in close collaboration with Konchong-Gyaltsen (Nam-Khar)," Insha" is rooted in convergence rather than continuity. Untethered from the logic of trilogies or cyclical narratives, it functions as a focused exploration of manifestation, examining the energetic mechanics that allow ritual, intention, and matter to emerge. Musically, "Insha" bridges the organic, ceremonial vitality that defined the early works of This Morn' Omina, interwoven with the structured, rhythmic pulse developed in later releases. The result is a dense, immersive work where ritual percussion, incantatory textures, and industrial discipline coexist in a unified ceremonial flow. "Insha" stands as a significant statement within the contemporary ritual sound landscape; an act of re-alignment, reconnecting essence and motion, origin and execution. It is both invocation and observation - a sonic examination of how intention becomes reality, and how ritual sound continues to operate as a tool of transformation. Presented in a 6-panel spot-varnished digisleeve. Already sold out from the label! Very few copies in stock - ACT FAST!
TRAUMA GOD - 'Isvaraya Pranamya' CD (Zazen Sounds) - £12

Trauma God is not a band - it is a ritual mechanism, a sonic entity forged from psychic abrasion, industrial decay, and ceremonial invocation. Rooted in noise, industrial, experimental, and ritual sound practices, the project functions as a sonic liturgy of transformation, where distortion becomes invocation, rhythm becomes trance, and sound becomes psychic confrontation. Trauma God channels the raw architectures of trauma, memory, fear, and transcendence into a ceremonial sound language where machine frequencies merge with occult symbolism, and industrial textures become tools of spiritual dissection. The compositions feel like dense, oppressive, meditative, and destabilising rites. Here, noise is not chaos; it is structure, invocation, purification. The project stands within the lineage of ritual industrial, ceremonial noise, and esoteric experimental sound art, where sound is used not to comfort, but to strip illusion, dissolve identity, and expose the hidden architectures of the psyche. This is ritual noise as inner work, industrial sound as spiritual technology. Gatefold digisleeve. Already sold out from the label! ACT FAST!
VIDNA OBMANA - 'Twilight Of Perception Redux Volume Three 1996-2006' 3 x CD (Zoharum) - £20

The third instalment in a series of compilations from VIDNA OBMANA (aka Dirk Serries, also of Fear Falls Burning) is a collection of rare recordings 1996-2006 - 13 of the tracks here are previously unpublished, with the other tracks (released by the likes of Projekt Records, Cue Records, and Escape 3 Organisation) scattered across various compilations, small formats, which are now practically unobtainable. Over these 18 ambient / shamanic tracks, Serries offers atmospheres created using various fujaras, overtone flutes and percussion, dreampipe, recycling and abstract mutations, and voices. These tracks have been collected in one place, rearranged, remastered and provided with a proper commentary by Dirk Serries. Ltd x 300 copies in an 8-panel double digipak with graphics designed using a photos by Martina Veerhoeven.
WIELORYB - 'God's Final Breath' CD (Zoharum) - £11.50

CD-proper reissue of a digital-only 2025 release by Wieloryb (on Antyscena). The aesthetic of "God's Final Breath" continues the direction taken on previous releases, remaining close to Rhythmic Noise, with numerous references to other electronic music genres. The twelve tracks are built on equally heavy, machine-like beats and a dense, dark atmosphere. From the very first moments, it's clear that this is Wieloryb's music, a sound we've long become accustomed to. The tracks from "God's Final Breath" while still based on a marriage of industrial, rhythmic noise rawness with electronic club music genres, seem even more massive, dense, and bursting with even more energy than before. Wieloryb never lets up, plunders mercilessly, yet somehow seems more inventive. Ltd x 300 copies in a 6-panel digisleeve.
WIELORYB - 'Ritual' CD (Zoharum) - £11.50

CD-proper reissue of a digital-only 2021 release by Wieloryb (on Antyscena), expanded with bonus tracks. "Ritual" is built on a heavy, machine-like, and dense industrial beats, accompanied by a sultry, almost basement-like atmosphere. Over 78-minutes of Rhythmic Noise's signature aesthetics, with new and interesting sounds, resulting in a monumental, even epic, yet at times uncompromising album. "Ritual" is a prime example of skillfully crafted material, bursting with a wealth of sounds and the emotions behind them, never letting up for a moment, maintaining the listener's suspense and attention from the first note to the last. Founded in the mid-90's, it operated mainly as a duo and is hailed as one of the pioneers of the Rhythmic Noise genre in Poland, with releases on the revered SPV and Hands Productions labels. Pawel Kmiecik remains the sole constant member and creator of the project. Ltd x 300 copies in a 6-panel digisleeve.

CAPRICORNI PNEUMATICI - 'Dissections' 2 x CD (ADN) - £14.50

Composed over a period of 4 years, the new work of Industrial / Esoteric / Dark Ambient act Capricorni Pneumatici (whose name is taken from an Aleister Crowley book), is a double CD featuring 8 minimal sound dissections (ranging 5 to 31 minutes) recorded in Sweden, UK and southern Italy. Dissection 1 is a frizzling track based on Tibetan bowl, maracas and "music machine". Dissection 2 is the longest suite, introducing low, calm waves of a forgotten sea that you should listen in a dark room. Dissection 3 introduces percussive echoed noises, while Dissection 4 has a harsher sound produced by synth, electric guitar, tubular bells and soprano saxophone. Dissection 5 is a subtle track based on field recordings treated with skill by CP. Dissection 6 is an airy, echoing track with a lot of movement and different instruments struggling in a crescendo that keeps a dense tension throughout the piece. Dissection 7 is like an electric saw cutting a misty morning. The final track, Dissection 8, ends the album with an ominous ritual ambient piece created using electric guitar and metal percussion. 2CD in double digipak.
CAPRICORNI PNEUMATICI - 'The Erivar' CD (ADN) - £12

First album from Milan's Capricorni Pneumatici since 1991 - and their first non-cassette release. This duo began in 1986 as a research project about the esoteric / ritual implications of music and sounds, a full acoustic / concrete music set with voice and other means of producing and manipulating sounds: PVC tubes, air compressors, hammers, buckets, water, steel and aluminium tanks and plates, various metal and plastic objects. Their name comes from Aleister Crowley's book "Liber A'ASH vel Capricorni Pneumatici SUB FIGURA CCCLXX". This act is finally back with new material, having had their debut release recently reissued onto vinyl for Tesco Archaic Documents. Two tracks on this album were mixed by Z'EV.
DARKRAD - 'Heart Murmur' CD (Audiophob) - £11.50

The third full-length album from Darkrad (Jana Komaritsa) continues the theme of inner blackness and disturbances of mind, weaving the canvas of an ominous world. "Heart Murmur" is a medical condition, when the sound of blood flowing can be heard in between regular heartbeat cycle. Darkrad creates swishing rumbling sounds of the tortured heart, sounds from the reality not seen, from the world not known, sounds from the dread, both inner and outer. Merging melancholic dark ambient passages, bitter melodies, disturbed vocals and raw noisy sounds, rhythms and basslines, she opens the door to the infinite dark and offers the listener to dive into the world beyond. Pure unrestrained emotion interweaves with once suppressed memories and fears, merging into one flow of hypnotic soundscape. Listen to her grim heart murmur, pulsating and vibrating in between the regular healthy heartbeat, frightful signals sent from the other side, penetrating the normal reality and spreading into our world. The album also includes bonus tracks: compilation contributions and previous tape releases, partially in new versions, as well as remixes from Flint Glass and Mortaja. Presented in a 6-panel digipak.
DARKRAD - 'Little Black World' CD (Audiophob) - £11.50

Darkrad is the musical project of artist 'Jana Dark' Komaritsa. The music is a combination of Dark Ambient and Noise, which is accompanied by quiet but threatening whispered vocals. The debut album "Abnormal Love" was released on Cold Meat Industry back in 2012. The follow-up, "Little Black World" was self-released in 2014 on a very limited tape. "Little black world" is the intimidating message, signals of the Dread Unknown which hides itself in all of us, whispers of Someone Beneath, manifesting itself in the form which haunts one the most. This CD reissue includes all tracks from the tape version (mastered by Gwenn Trémorin of Flint Glass), with a number of bonus tracks... the eponymous track 'Little Black World' is released here for the first time; followed by tracks from Darkrad's second tape "Die In Eclipse" and two tracks from download-only compilations. The CD concludes with two unreleased remixes, provided by Dirk Geiger (Kraftmaschine), and Spherical Disrupted. 6-panel digipak.
NICOLAS BALLET - 'Shock Factory: The Visual Culture Of Industrial Music' Book - £52

Industrial music appeared in the mid-1970s, and far from being a simple sound experimentation phenomenon, it quickly spawned a coherent visual culture operating at the intersection of a multitude of media (collage, mail art, installation, film, performance, sound, video) and initiated a close inspection of the legacy of modernity and the growing, pervasive influence of technology. Originally British, the movement soon outgrew Europe, extending into the USA and Japan during the 80's.

The sound experiments conducted by industrial bands - designing synthesizers, manipulating and transforming recorded sounds from audio tapes, either recycled or laid down by the artists - were backed up by a rich array of radical visual productions, deriving their sources from the modernist utopias of the first part of the 20th century. Such saturated sounds were translated into abrasive images, manipulated through the détournement of reprographic techniques (Xerox art), that investigated polemical themes: mind control, criminality, occultism, p*rnography, psychiatry and totalitarianism, among others.

This book introduces the visual and aesthetic elements of 70's and 80's industrial culture to a general history of contemporary art by analysing the different approaches taken and topics addressed by the primary protagonists of the movement, who perceptively anticipated the current discourse concerning the media and their collective coercive power. Paperback, 588pp. HEAVY ITEM!

EDWARD KA-SPEL (THE LEGENDARY PINK DOTS) - 'The Sympathy Portal' LP (Lumberton Trading Company) - £22

Previously only available as a self-released CDR (Ltd x 99, 2022), "The Sympathy Portal" collects four tracks (40 mins, one of which is divided into three parts) that make full use of Edward Ka-Spel's (The Legendary Pink Dots) command for melody, texture and mood. Built from drifting keyboards, treated vocals, subtle field recordings and gently coiling rhythms coupled to often despairing or melancholic lyrics, the music moves between cosmic unease and fragile calm, with dynamics that breathe rather than overwhelm. "The Sympathy Portal" was created as 2020 drifted into 2021, reflecting a moment marked by uncertainty and isolation. This album reflects much of the fear and tension of the time, but the last song, 'Angel Trail (Slight Return)', was intended to offer some genuine hope, revived for the release after first appearing in a different form on The Legendary Pink Dots' "9 Lives to Wonder" back in 1994. It could be argued that the angel trail Edward so eloquently refers to is something that needs to be found more than ever and that, thankfully, his music helps to illuminate this despite its mostly distressed overtones. Ltd x 300 copies.
MUSLIMGAUZE - 'Al-Zulfiquar Shaheed' CD (Other Voices Records) - £13

Many people believe that the magic of Muslimgauze works best with his looping tracks - "Al-Zulfiquar Shaheed" is an incredible example of this. Originally released on the obscure French label T.4 back in 1994, "Al-Zulfiquar Shaheed" stands out as a major long lost showcase of the glorious early to mid-90's Muslimgauze period. An intoxicating suite (75 mins) showcasing Bryn Jones' ability to create lengthy, slow burning and detailed compositions soaked with trance inducing percussive impetus and beautiful middle eastern atmospheres. The five tracks here - expanded to include a bonus track from the legendary "Ophir" compilation released in the same year - exhibit Bryn's skill in creating lengthy and detailed compositions filled with Arabic percussion, droning keyboards, vocal samples and ethereal atmospheres. Recorded at the Abraham Mosque, Manchester, during summer of 1994. CD in gatefold ecopak with new artwork.
VARIOUS ARTISTS - 'The Third Mind. A Sonic Tribute To The Dreamachine' CD (Unexplained Sounds) - £12

The Dreamachine, conceived in 1959 by Brion Gysin in collaboration with the mathematician Ian Sommerville, was an experiment in expanded consciousness. A flickering cylinder of light designed to be viewed with closed eyes, it sought to induce visionary states, to dissolve the boundaries of perception, and to reveal the inner landscapes of the mind. Gysin regarded it as the first work of art meant to be seen with the eyes shut, turning vision inward rather than outward. It was around the aura of the Dreamachine that Gysin's creative alliance with William S. Burroughs deepened. Both artists shared an obsession with breaking down systems of control, linguistic, social, and perceptual. Gysin's discovery of the cut-up technique became one of Burroughs' most radical tools, just as Burroughs' prose amplified Gysin's explorations into altered states and the mechanics of thought. Together, they envisioned what they called The Third Mind: a new consciousness that could emerge from the fusion of two creative intelligences, transcending individuality and generating something other, stranger, and more powerful than either artist alone. Each track on his compilation seeks to channel the spirit of experimentation, psychedelia, and radical perception that defined their work, whether through hypnotic repetition, immersive soundscapes, or altered states of sonic awareness. What emerges is a collective attempt to listen through the ears of The Third Mind itself. Features: Dead Voices on Air, 400 Lonely Things, Rapoon, Browning Mummery, Mark Hjorthoy, Paolo L. Bandera, Mario Lino Stancati, Joel Gilardini, RhaD, Richard Bégin, Nikos Sotirelis, and Tescon Pol. Ltd x 200 copies (CD proper) in a 6-panel digipak.
SKEPTICISM - 'Stormcrowfleet (30th Anniversary Edition)' 2 x LP BLACK (Svart Records) - £30
SKEPTICISM - 'Stormcrowfleet (30th Anniversary Edition)' 2 x LP AMBER / BLACK SMOKE (Svart Records) - £32

Skepticism's monumental 1995 debut remains a landmark of funeral doom - an album that defined both a sound and a legacy. This 30th anniversary edition of the classic has been newly mixed from the original tape reels by Anssi Kippo at Astia Studio under supervision of the band. "Stormcrowfleet was originally released on CD. Instead of taking the easiest route we wanted to make the vinyl version the best it can be. We bought the multi-track tapes at the end of the recording sessions back in the day and stored them for possible later use. This is not just a vinyl edition but a complete remix of the album from the original recordings. Nothing was added or changed. The mix was done at Astia-studio with high quality analogue equipment. In fact most of the equipment used did exist in 1995. What did not exist back in then was more than two decades of audio engineering tradition dedicated to processing extreme metal. In this process that tradition manifested in the form of Anssi Kippo - multiple award winning producer who handled the mixing in co-operation with the band members. In short, the target was not to do a different mix but one with the original vision for the album with better equipment and engineering". This edition features two bonus tracks from the 1994 demo cassette "Aeothe Kaear", cut directly from the original studio master tape, released on vinyl now for the first time ever. A milestone of doom metal history, expanded and reintroduced for a new generation. Black vinyl: gatefold sleeve. Limited colour 2LP edition: Amber / Black Smoke vinyl presented in a gatefold sleeve. Both editions include a special anniversary edition booklet illustrating the making of the album.
ASMUS TIETCHENS / THORSTEN SOLTAU - 'Lichthöfe' CD (Auf Abwegen) - £12

The musical material on "Lichthöfe" is based on modular recordings by Thorsten Soltau. Conceptually these recordings deal with the spaciality of sound and the stereo field, while still maintaining an improvisational character. Asmus Tietchens has treated the material to intensive deformations, ranging from reductionist clusters to brittle textures. In each treatment a fragment of the original material remains audible. Here Tietchens has articulated his musical interests clearly: everyday noises were treated and at times deformed beyond recognition and placed into new contexts. Thorsten Soltau works in the field of sound design and electroacoustics, specialising in sonic disintegration, conceptualism and dualism. Ltd x 300 copies in a gatefold digisleeve.
MURDEROUS VISION - 'Pestilent Black Breath' CD (Dunkelheit Produktionen) - £12

"Pestilent Black Breath" is the brand new album from Death Industrial Noise legend Murderous Vision (Stephen Petrus). From the first second, MV makes clear that that old darkness and spite is still alive and kicking. Blackest seas of vitriol and menace flow through the shadows of the psyche, while tortured vocals and whispers sing of desperation and hate, while walls of night crawl through the cracks of sanity. As one has come to expect from Petrus, the material is somewhat influenced by Dark Ambient but still has a noisy edge, which should please the fans of more dissonant frequencies. "Pestilent Black Breath" is a triumph and another addition to the ever-expanding exquisite catalogue of Murderous Vision. Experience the spirit of the 90's old school death draped in a cloak of modern mastery and dive into these dark parallel worlds. Features guests Pauline Lombardo (C*nting Daughters), and Philosoph (aka Jan Bremen of Cult Of Nihil, Grimoire De Occulte). Mastered by Grant Richardson (Gnawed). Ltd x 200 hand-numbered copies.
GIANLUCA BECUZZI - 'American Requiem' 2 x CD (St.An.Da. / Silentes) - £15.50

The fifth in a series of double albums by Gianluca Becuzzi (Kinetix, Limbo) for St.An.Da., which began in 2020 with "In Between", and continued with "Mana", "Axis Mundi", and "Black Mantra". Like its predecessors, "American Requiem" combines drone guitar with sacred themes, creating compositions with a dark and captivating mood. This time, the theme of faith and death in the land of capitalist materialism par excellence, the United States, is placed at the centre of the work, with the use of a mix of traditional country-blues and avant-noise musical elements elaborated according to a deep and uninterrupted sound continuum that demands immersive listening. Ltd x 200 copies in a 6-panel digisleeve.
DAWN & DUSK ENDUSK ENTWINED - 'Remains Of Loss' CD (Dark Vinyl) - £12

This is a completely reworked version of Dawn & Dusk Entwined's 2000 comeback album "Crossed Paths", originally a self-released CDR. The result offers French cold wave - with dark, cool synth pads, orchestral sound collages, and a strong touch of 80's darkwave retro charm. The original edition of 'Crossed Paths', released after seven years of inactivity, had ended up with too many tracks still sounding unfinished (according to the artist's ears in 2025). All the tracks here have had a completely new mix / arrangement, with four bonus tracks added and a totally refreshed track sequence in order to give more coherence to what the artist considered being for so many parts unfulfilled. Now, it is definitive and more satisfying with a more assertive direction, resulting in more mature versions and offering them the sound they deserved. Presented in a 6-panel ecopak.
PENITENT - 'Melancholia Redux' CD (The Circle Music) - £12
PENITENT - 'Melancholia Redux' LP MARBLED RED / TURQUOISE (The Circle Music) - £26

Penitent's debut album "Melancholia" (originally released by Cold Meat Industry, 1996), is released in a new incarnation for this 30th anniversary edition. The music and instrumentation have been re-recorded, the lyrics have been rewritten (now in English), and there is fresh new artwork and mastering album. An album of sad and sombre, but majestic Neoclassical synth music, which together with the spoken poetry awaken the most dark and depressive feelings. This album is dedicated to the memory of Marquis De Sade. "What kind of emotions guides us when we feel the loss of hope and the whole life seems to be nothing but a mournful bridge over a river of tears? One has to live one's life, and bear all the pain and sorrows, sadness and depression. Fatal for the majority, these dark emotions may become the pleasure for the others and give them power to survive. The punishment will come and everybody will be punished one way or another. To await or to undergo this punishment is to be a Penitent". For this album, Norway's Penitent was main man Karsten Hamre (aka Beastus Rex, who also records as Arcane Art, Dense Vision Shrine, Veiled Allusions etc) and Asbjørn B. Log (aka Azgoth). CD: Ltd x 500 copies in a digipak with 12-page booklet. LP: Ltd x 150 copies on marbled red and turquoise vinyl with printed inner sleeve. VERY FEW IN STOCK!
COLD PROPHET - 'Intentio Exitus' CD (The Sinister Initiative) - £12
COLD PROPHET - 'Intentio Exitus' 2 x LP (The Sinister Initiative) - £26

Cold Prophet is the death / dark ambient project of Finnish artist and designer Tuomas Tahvanainen (aka Ritual Nucleart). "Intentio Exitus" is comprised of six lengthy new tracks (60 mins), domineering with the finest Death Ambience you could have hoped for. An audial extension of that bleak, misanthropic and most Satanic of visual languages, soaking the world in his nightmarish vision and to promote Death Ambience. Described by Nordvargr (MZ.412), also responsible for mastering, as a "complete audial nosedive, deep down below, where uncomfortably claustrophobic and sinister atmospheres meet Tahvanainen's patented nightmare soundscapes". The Sinister Initiative is the label of Niklas Kvarforth of Shining. CD: in 6-panel digipak.
2LP: Deluxe black vinyl edition with two bonus vinyl-only tracks. Ltd x 200 copies in a gatefold sleeve featuring different artwork from the CD edition. Comes with exclusive poster.

Dark corners of the human psyche and the depths of one's insanity; demon imagery. Originally self-released by the band on CD (2025), this album is now presented for the first time on vinyl.
