BIOGRAPHY

Best known for his 1990's work with dark-ambient occultists ENDVRA, Christopher Walton controls layers of sub-sonic drones and abstract noise to create a vision that is bleaker and darker than its predecessor.

TenHornedBeast harnesses waves of coiling, shimmering ambience only to see them crash down on distorted bass and sporadic, chaotic drums. Guitars and bass divide, merge and divide again forcing monochrome washes of dissonance to illuminate black walls of reverb.

Powered by biblical prophecy and oppressive volume TenHornedBeast stalks the neither-neither world where sound is invocation and screaming feedback calls down the elder night.

Cold Spring released TenHornedBeast's first CD proper, "The Sacred Truth", in 2007, followed by the sister album named "My Horns Are A Flame To Draw Down The Truth" in 2009. We also released THB's album "Hunts And Wars" in 2010, with the album "Death Has No Companion" emerging in 2017. 2022 saw TenHornedBeast dragged back to its pounding Doom-Ambient roots with its darkest album yet: "The Lamp Of No Light (Hymns For The Yorkshire Doom Stone)". The latest album, "Capra Hircus" (2024) is a uniquely colour-drenched album, full of the glowing sunrise of hill-top psychedelia and shimmering, spiralling drones.
